Agree with P_Stu, in fact, Coughlan can't get a licence for next season so a Cork City team responsibly run in the A championship next season is infinitely preferable to Coughlan applying for a premier licence for next season

bearing in mind what hapened Ollie Byrne RIP it must be a constant worry for owners in this predictament. I know there will be little sympathy for TC on this forum (nor should there be) but would not like to be in his place on this one.

In fairness, whatever you might think of Ollie Byrne, he really did care about Shels. I don't think Coughlan is anywhere near as attached to Cork.

I think it's not possible that he will be able to meet all the requirements to obtain a licence, from what I know both of the situation of the club and of licencing rules themselves.
