I'd be more worried about being in the place of the employees he isnt paying, you can be certain Tom isnt going without.

Incidentally, while I would totally support the Cork players right to strike given their treatment, I'd hate to see the chosen game affecting the destination of the league title.

Why do you say "Coughlan can't get a licence"? Do you mean it is unlikely or should not be granted, as opposed to not possible?

There's no way he'l get a tax clearance cert off the revenue therefore he shouldnt be able to get a license

              What?

If an investor isn't willing to run a club properly and deal with any mess they make then I don't want them involved anyway.

The league can live without "investors" like him.

I see the game that any strike action will affect has been mvoed from the Bohs game on Friday to the Rovers game next week. Definite Rovers bias in Cork...

That or a statutory notice period....

The decision on a strike is to be made this afternoon, you have to give 7 days notice

No agreement. Nobody from Cork City bothered turning up.

After Farrelly is out of the way or if he is ever out of the way, Alan Mathews is up in court next. Who'd back against him receiving a significant judgment?.

In fairness, whatever you might think of Ollie Byrne, he really did care about Shels. I don't think Coughlan is anywhere near as attached to Cork.

Makes you wonder what was in it for him in the first place. He's certainly not become a local hero out of it.
You can't spell failure without FAI

I think it's not possible that he will be able to meet all the requirements to obtain a licence, from what I know both of the situation of the club and of licencing rules themselves.

And where does your knowledge of FAI fudging come into things?
