And what makes you think this so early in the season with players not even signed or training or no matchs played??What has castle rovers got this year that no one else in 2a hasn't!?

for a start decent players,which is more than ye have,and they are training already and have players signed,ye'll be lucky to have a B team with the way things are going with yer A team

Castle Rovers, Hospital, Kilfinane, Summerville B, Aisling B, Athlunkard, Hyde Rangers, Holycross (I think they got relegated from 1B). Not sure who else got relegated - Knockainey or Murroe? Don't know who got promoted with Castle Rovers either - Pallas maybe?

Rumour has it the top 6 teams from 2b are gone up to 2a as some teams pulled out and some teams in the division weren't happy about only having 18league so topped up the division to 12 teams..

what did ye make of the two 1a teams ye played

Out of the 2 teams above Balla were way stronger,they gave us a good run around for the first half,but tired in the second,

Prospect were pretty bad and we should of scored a couple before a lot of changes in the second half from us got them there goal,

Looking forward to playing Corbally who we beat last year in the Lawson!

Shels are in 1B. Shels were missing around 5 players. That was shel's first match also without any training..Ye must ahve a very big squad because on that day ye had about 6 subs!!!

We have a squad of about 20 when everyone is there,our manager played against ye,so tells you how short we were,
Cant really comment on how good ye were but good luck in your league,

K.Johnson , mala , paul franklin , danny colbert , steve long , did'nt play against ye and did against carew would have been a different story if they had played against ye.
Dont get me wrong ye have a good side and should do well in 2A but ye played an under strength side.

I can easliy say that we were missing 4 of our best players in Shane O loughlan,Wayne Magher,Joe Rooney and Sean O toole,but im not like that!

Sean and Joe scored 40 Goals between them and we played ye with No forwards,so there is where the big differnce would of been...?

think it's a few ego's bout the place up at the 'ville. thought they should def be prem players but since they get relegated they all jump ship blamin someone else leavin new manager in tough position...

i find it a bit of a strange one out of the two of ye to leave yer a team in such a state,now i know you'l bring up yer work situations but iv no doubt ye'd be capable of playin 1 a again!!imo come november/december when the novelty of this b team wears off ye'l be all back up with the a tea, cos from waht i hear the team is in dire straights! i hear all the a team players from last year have signed with ye.. once again i find this frightening that all these heroes who got the club relegated are jumping ship, its an absolute disgrace to be honest!!

Head for Ballyneety, then take a right just at the start of the village, before the Garda station. Head on for about a mile and half, until you come to a left turn. Take that and head on straight for another mile or so. Pitch is just beyond the Castle on the right. I'll have the kettle on ;)
