Jeff Kenna is taking home would be quite a hefty sum seen as he has played at the very highest level--I'm not saying he should be getting any less, the best of luck to the guy, he seems a genuine bloke..........Did the Galway board dupe Jeff Kenna into the job or was he aware they were going to hit the situation they now are in crying poverty ??!!......:confused:

Jeff Kenna is a young manager just strating out, I'm sure he's more concerned about gaining experience and doing a good job than he is about money. No player who wants to become a manager chooses a club on the basis of the wages they're paying him. And it's not even as if he needs a big payday.

No he hasent he turned down the offer as he has a Mortgage in galway and he doesnt want to leave his kid behind either

WTF is Fenlon at? On Drogs forum it says Stu Byrne and Ollie Cahill are going there, now Gary O'Neill and Joey Ndo. He is basically re-building the Shels team he had. Its not to say he hasnt got alot of top players there.

He was getting abuse from a lot of people who call themselves city fans. Apparently this happened at times outside match day and this influenced his decsion to move.

:confused: George loves a bit of abuse. If you're going to speculate that someone abused him 'outside of work hours' we might as well say he didn't like the new shade of green.

I wouldn't say that. He was doing pretty well at the start of the season. When they hammered us 3-0, he was probably the second-best player for them that night. I was surprised to see him benched for the UCD game.

Heard the rumour about sammon to us.Can't see it happening though. Eamonn zayed and jason gavin coming to us from drogheda. Zayed today and perhaps gavin at the end of the season.

As far as I know he's very much part of Johnny Macs long term plans. Think he'll be at Bray until the end of the season, he's under contract to us for another year after that.

I'd be very surprised if he was let go by Pats. It's hard to believe how young and how easily he's slotted into our defence.

i know for a fact through a very reliable source that george is on serious money at cork city.. hes easily on a six figure sum...not too surprised with o'callaghan
