In all fairness, Fingal are a joke. With a man extra, they spent the majority of the game holding out for the draw. Pathetic. SF are without doubt the most pointless football entity on this island. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot imo.

One of the worst games of football I`ve seen in a long time in Morton last night and to top it all off there was the usual gangs of Shels/Bohs/Fingal scumbags scrapping in the middle of the main road afterwards

Dunno how we didn't win tonight. Cracking goal, defended superbly, played well on the counter, missed two open goals, excellent peno save, and still couldn't win... Still, better performance than last week at least. Rovers took off their left back to put on an extra attacker (who scored, in fairness), but never put someone covering left back, and we ate them alive there. Their defence were genuinely scared of Shane Fitz.

You forgot the one you had cleared off the line.
Thought it was a decent enough game myself. Pat's looked like they were going to destroy them in the first 10 mins, Cobh had hardly touched the ball up until Pat's scored. After the goal Pat's seem to think it was job done for the night and Cobh fought their way into it.
Pat's were more composed in the second half again, the quality of Fahey and Quigley is fantastic to watch when they turn it on. Guy had a very good game, he seems to have really grown on confidence, put in some lovely crosses, as you said he made some bad errors near the end when he was wrecked.
I'm now positive that Des Byrne is one of the worst players in the league, I saw him a good few times for Bohs last year and again tonight and he offers nothing at all, especially not on the left wing, at least as a left back he gets away with hoofing the ball and hacking players.
Poor crowd and pretty quiet too I thought.
Crowd was decent compared to Monday morer Pats fans there then monday imo stand had more in it as well.
And the cold and poor certainly didnt help the atmosphere

Suprised that Pats get such poor support. It does'nt bode well for their long term prospects IMO

Long term , as in since 1929?
We get better crowds than Rovers or Shels, and about the same as Bohs.

My 10/3 on them to go down is looking nice! Shocking collapse.
shocking is not the word stu, cant see any manager pulling us out of this mess even at this early stage. If our first team is as bad as it looks, its time to blood the young fellas that are doing so well for the u21 team over the past year or 2.

Cant see Nick Leeson or Michael D higgins working any of their wonders at GUFC this year, would have to be some DVD to pull this 1 off :D

I hope Galway get relegated. Cannot stand them and their self righteous attitude. Early in the season but let the truth be known.

Obviously Galway are favourites for the drop at this point but clubs in the relegation zone are only two wins away from not looking dead in the water, see Bray.

They will probably hope the AIL is sped along to keep them in the upper echelons!!!!!:D

Surprised to see Healy and Jeffrey sitting at the same table, let alone in the same room.
It was a cracking goal by Brennan alright. Looks like a good crowd up there. Wonder if many are tuning in.

That wind was with us for the first half and with Shels for the second. They were better in the second half as you might expect. We had a bad game.
Two weeks earlier we were down to ten men for the same period of time and nearly beat Dundalk despite it. Don't judge a team on one game you see.
Drogs 1-1 Bohs (Cahill, 73)
Massive deflection, looped over keeper off Heary. Drogs poor so far. Bohs the better side.

I think Kelly has been very poor tonight. Agree with Fleming that with all the yellows being dished out it was inevitable someone would be sent off.

Agree about Leech's abuse. Absolutley no need, Cleary was very unhappy about it. Regards the ref, I have posted in the Sligo forum, I didn't think McKeon did much wrong. Wes was going to go one way or another. A good game IMO.

He'll not be too popular around his home town tonight,
I have to say Bohs deserved it. Drogs looked poor, and Bohs wanted it more. ****es me off to see Brennan put in a performance like that and he wouldnt bother his balls for us last year.
Also that big striker for Drogheda Thiam is crap!! Tits on a bull!! His first touch is poor, his passing is poor, always stood still, pure pish!!!

Where is he from? Was hoping it stayed at one all but Bohs definitely deserved that. Didn't see the first half, what was it like? Great game for a neutral.

Why did he get so much abuse, did he get that kind of abuse while being a Derry player? Did he ever play for Drogheda? Was delighted he got both goals tbh, just to see him stick it to the drog kids who were giving him hell all night, and that penalty was a peach!

Harps goal against column looks ominous, they're shipping a load of goals away from home and will find themselves in a hole if it isn't sorted out quickly enough.
Doolin/Drogs getting found out this season. They haven't been a whole lot worse than last season but find themselves a good bit off the pace already.

Got some stick from Derry fans last year, pulled out of every tackle, dived, feigned injury with hilarity at times and tried to get other players booked. One thing our crowd like is guys who put the effort in. Brennan has all the talent in the world but the effort he put in last year was disgraceful. To answer your question, I'm sure he was loathed as equally by the rest of the other teams fans:D
