Pats very large at 9/2 away to Derry tomorrow night (Lads), considering their relatively poor form at the Brandywell.

4 pts on Wigan to beat Hull tomorrow, DNB. Odds of 4/5 with Paddy.

I think this is worthwhile - Hull have won only 1 game out of 25 in this calendar year, and Wigan did the double over them last season.

Valuev is 7/1 to knock Haye out on Saturday, given the sheer physical difference this looks a fantastic bet

34 of his 50 wins are by KO, that's 68% so its still a bit of a risk to go for the KO...

Your stat of 68% would suggest that 7/1 is excellent value, of course 7/1 is never a dead cert and obviously "bit of a risk".
I have no bet on this anyway, but just pointing out that what you have said makes very little sense IMO.

Looked very good value to me but that's 20 quid I'll never see again!

Sligo Rovers 9-2 tonight with PP. From what I heard, we're bringing a strong squad down. Can't see Cork being too bothered with this whereas we have a cup final to play in a couple of weeks.

Well my point was he had been up against a lot of boxers of average ability and had not knocked a huge % of them out, so I thought that the fight would go the distance (and I thought Valuev would then win on points).

TBH I should have hedged Haye winning on points, I felt there was only ever 2 possible outcomes a knock out for Valuev or Haye dancing around him for 12 and picking it up on points, but in all seriousness I didn't think he could avoid him for 12 rounds, a great win for Haye

Wolfsburg at 11/10 with PP have to be worth a punt given United's travelling squad. There's 5 or 6 players without a first team appearance in the squad and only two recognised defenders.

Haven't posted here in a while as I bet motly in play but I'm having a decent bet on Serhiy Lebid to win the men's European Cross Country title tomorrow at 3/1

He's won this race 8 times and its basically his Olypics. He's a great CC runner but prefrs to concentrate on something he can win, like this and prefers heavy ground (as opposed to main rival Britain's Mo Farah)

If its any consolation he was the first European!:p

I backed Ireland to win a medal in the woman's race - god damn it

Ran in Santry many times, brought back a lot of bad memories, mostly cold ones!

Anyone see Fulham at 28/1 for the Fa cup? I like it

Leopardstown: Rites of Passage, Alaivan and Sizing Europe all odds on favourites who look good for the win.

Kempton: Kauto Star is the obvious choice, also Starluck is overpriced imo and has a great chance of winning.

Limerick: going for Coolcashin in the 2:10, I'd have him priced closer to evs so I think he is really good value in this one

I am going for .................

Go Native 7/4
Cross Appeal 9/2
Vodka Brook 8/1
obviously Kauto will win
AAchen 12/1
Carruthers 5/1, a horse who has won for me in the past:)

Thought id share this, so I meet AP McCoy in the Airport yesterday and ask him for a tip.. Surprisingly he says 'hang on' and makes a phone call and comes back to me and says 'Sang Bleu 245 chepstow, banker' and winks... He was a gentleman but the horse came second.. Its lucky im not a big gambler!

(Sorry if this is considered after eventing or something, but I just found this thread and meet jockeys/trainers all the time)

Only betting for fun at the minute, but putting a small bit on Villa tonight ht/ft @ 11/2.

A bit speculative, but I reckon they should have too much for Liverpool.

The Betting Man

Think 7/4 villa is a bit of value couldnt have Liverpool at 11/8 or so

Arsenal -2 tonight is 17/10 with Paddys. Bolton are dire at the back and Arsenal will cut them open time and time again. The only issue is will they finish enough of their chances. I'd predict a 4-0 win for Arsenal.

Man Utd will win tonight - Paddys have them at 10/11 to go through. Fantastic price.

United completely outclassed City in the 1st leg and I can't see anything but a United victory tonight.

Sworn Tigress 8.50 Wolverhampton. Owned by Alex Ferguson and expected to win this one. 11/8 was what I got on it from PP. The lad who I got this from has been bang on with his last two tips and won me a few quid.
