had 7 out of 8 teams up today, waiting on Leicester who were 1 down to Bristol Rvs,Fryatt scored 2 in the last 5 mins to give them a 2-1 win but my joy was to be short lived as Barnet had equalised with Bradford, gutted:mad:

Oscar ..I feel your pain. I had pretty much the same bet, but I had 8 out of 9. And to make matters worse..Apparently the 3rd goal for Barnet didn't cross the line....When Jeff Stelling said "there's been a late goal at the Walkers" I prayed for a Bristol rovers goal..Ba$tards..
and to rub salt into it..I also had 6 aways and feckin Arsenal let me down!!!!

In the same race as the above 2:40 @ Exeter Mister Quasimodo his form is good and has a decent run on this track. You can still get him for around 14/1 well worth an E/W Bet.

Absolutely gutted. Had a five anytime-scorer accumulator on Messi, Gerrard, Kone, Derlei and Quaresma. Everyone except Quaresma scored. I'd been hesitating between him and Julio Cruz. Needless to say, Cruz scored. Portuguese ponce did me out of a big payday.

You'd get your stake back then or if they were to be demoted to the first division.. If not though and they stay in the premier division then Drogheda will be a team with a drastically cut budget battling against relegation. Good bet therefore in my opinion.

If Drogheda get relegated then Dundalk automatically finish above them, Boyle sports are louth based and wouldn't be that stupid to offer such a bet unless they had a bit of inside info on drogs future , I would take this as a sign that the new stadium is going ahead .

BTW, you should have mentioned the bookie that was offering that price.

Was checking odds online at work earlier and saw Panathinaikos were 10-1 Vs. Inter tonight. They still had great chance of qualifying and so thought them odds were way too big...forgot about it when I got home and never put bet on...they won 1-0:mad::mad:

You'd want to have money to burn to follow my tips, but here we go again! :)

A double on Wolves and Reading tomorrow currently has odds of 2.48 with PP. On the 7 occasions that both teams have played at home on the same weekend this season, 5 of them have resulted in wins for the home team. They're both playing so-so opposition, and should make the most of it.

If the double looks too risky, they're at 1.61 and 1.53 respectively just to win, which are respectable odds in their own right. Put it this way; it's highly unlikely that neither team will win, so it's just a question of picking the right one.

Hiroshima Sanfrecce to be promoted from J2 to J1. No idea if prices will be available anywhere in Ireland, and if they are, they'll be short. But it's a sure thing!

(This is a serious post, btw!)

They finished 22 points clear of second place.

Wolves 3/4 to beat Sheffield United with Paddy. They've scraped a few results recently but Utd are missing some big players, and Wolves have Iwelumo back. Doubling them up with MD Dons to win or draw at Bristol City at total odds of 2.35.

Looking dodgy, that one. Very much a 2nd string put out by Blackburn. I'm taking a chance and going for Spartans at 6/1, no draw, in running with Bet365. Fingers crossed.

Man U v Spurs on Saturday.

Man U have even more injury problems in defence, and Spurs are going to try and rest as many frontline players as they can. To that end, I think 11/10 on both teams to score with Bet365 is reasonable.

Even if they survive in the Premier Division wouldn't they be reduced to being relegation candidates?

Carling Cup Final

Manchester United -V- Tottenham Hotspurs

I can see this being a very exciting game with plenty of goals. Fergie has promised to give his youngsters a run out once again in this competition. United's defence has been rock solid all season but they have conceded a few goals in the cup this year. Over 2.5 goals looks good to me today. Both sides have been involved in high scoring games throughout this seasons cup run. Between them they have played 10 games, witnessing a whopping 42 goals! An average of 4.2 goals a game. Only two of those games failed to reach above the 2.5 mark. These sides have met twice already this season, Fa Cup and League. The league game was 0-0 but in their last meeting it finished 2-1, a scoreline which this punter will be hoping for. History could also be on our side. Since the turn of the Century, the League Cup final has witness 6 games having more than 2.5 goals scored in normal time.

United's run:

Man Utd 4-2 Derby

Derby 1-0 Man Utd

Man Utd 5-3 Blackburn

Man Utd 1-0 QPR

Man Utd 3-1 Middlesbrough

Spurs run:

Burnley 3 - 2 Tottenham*

Tottenham 4-1 Burnley

Watford 1-2 Tottenham

Tottenham 4-2 Liverpool

Newcastle 1-2 Tottenham

*Spurs nicked 2 goals in ET

Meetings between the sides this season:

Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham LEAGUE

Man Utd 2-1 Tottenham FA CUP

Man Utd 4 - 0 Wigan Athletic
