even nicer get a nice set with lots of different cosmetics made up in some of the shops. Keep it simple

I love the way you say it like it isnt the bloke equivalent of solving some really complicated equation!!!!!! (altho its still a good idea tho...:D)

Shedite is loaded, he can well afford the €150 no bother :P !

My missus has her birthday on the 22nd December which is always a disaster, have sorted the birthday present but have not yet sorted the Christmas one. Think the DS lite with a few games mentioned above could be a good idea

Best of luck trying to get a DS lite now. Last year the game shops ran out of the most popular games (super mario kart/ super mario bros. etc.)

I think Wii's are sold out as well unless you'd settle for second hand stuff :(

If she's not a Westlife fan your screwed...
Otherwise pretty good I'd say.

Our main present to each other this year is going to be a new TV so only had to get the smaller bits. Got her oil paints, brush set, canvas, (she's a brilliant artist and is getting back into it recently) Bon Jovi calendar (she's a huge fan, already have tickets to see them in the summer), CSI Series 7 DVD (she has all of them up to season 6, her favourite TV show) and a little Me to You bear Christmas decoration (Me to You bear and card is a tradition at this stage, we moved in together this year and have our first Christmas tree so went with the little decoration).

Even though this is our fifth Christmas I'm still terrified she's not going to like the presents. It's probably the first year I haven't got her any jewellery or make-up due to the budget so I'm nervous (even though I'm 99% sure she'll be happy).

Ya theyre gr8 presents but only, as passinginterest said, if she loves westlife. If she's anythin like every women i know, there'll be no prob.

My girlfriend already has their new album and the concert tickets, dagnamit!! So i got her a 3 day trip to London, staying in a nice hotel - very central, and going to the Mamma mia play over there. Earlier in this thread i was advised to get Dirty Dancing tickets but they were all sold out :( :(

Also got her a Blackburn training shirt - she supports them, the DVD of our first film and must get a couple of other things - teddy, pampering set.....

Hope to God she likes them!

Am resurrecting this thread as this year is even worse than last year and last year was so bad I dont even remember what I got her.

Jewellery - has done it to death, She has more jewellery than Mr T

Weekend away - Sofia and Italy(Rome) already spoken for - might struggle with annual leave

DS Lite - broached it with her - not interested

Anything for the house - dont even go there

All suggestions welcome

Sorry, but Valentines Day is the most contrived, pointless, money-wasting day of the year. If the only time in the whole year you buy something nice or 'surprise' for your girlfriend or wife is on the 14th February when everyone else is, you really lack imagination.

I was wondering why the Christmas thread became active again.

Anto, I gotta agree with micls here, are you sure it's not a test? Unless she thought you were referring to V-day, the end of WWII.

Anyway, valentines-schmalentines. I choose to ignore it (usually at my peril).

ha ha ha ha dead man walking!

Doesnt have to be big and flash (although some of us do like big and flash!) but something sweet and thoughtful will do. Just make her feel even more special than usual.

Well if it is a test I’m going to fail but at least she will learn a very valuable lesson.
