from main menu select network and enter the ip address in the join other server option

trouble shooting at the mo , might have something to do with my router settings

You have to set up a network so everyone can be connected to each other. Download hamachi from here- http://www.hamachi.cc/download/list.php (http://www.hamachi.cc/download/list.php) Whoever is hosting the game should set up the network. Also the option to move games for TV should be unchecked so everyone can play their games at the same time.


Sundays and Mondays would be best for me. To be honest I don't know how the online system works though, what happens if we call it for say Sunday and one particular sunday one or two of us can't make it?
Then there are on holiday I think.

Havnt been in here in a while, was away all weekend. Anyway it seems Sunday is a favourite day amongst everyone. What times suit? What about 5pm - 9pm?

I'm currently uploading my update for the EL. I'll post it here later with details on where to put it. Also has everyone downloaded the badge and kit packs made?

OK lads here is the EL update. Now obviously it isnt 100% perfect but it has all the main issues sorted.

When you have downloaded, just right click, extract file and extract it to MyDocuments/SportsInteractive/FootballManager2008/db.

Then when you start the game up, when starting a new season, select EL update from the drop down bar.

it might not suit all, but it will for the vast majority, as we all have aour stuff during the weekdays...unless we were going to go 10pm+ on a weekday it was too much hassle.... ill download that patch now!!

Downloaded that update last night. Great job. Everything at harps is more or less perfect now and shels reputation is much lower which is good.

We'll do a test run on Sat evening hopefully, just to make sure eveyone knows what to do and everything is running smoothly. Is everyone else OK with this?

any thoughts lads , was good craic enough , I suppose the start is the worst but now that the season has started the games should come thick and fast, I had a great 2-1 victory over Shams there , Ryan had a howler for our 2nd . Longford will be rueing the day they hired sligoman after they got thrashed 4-1 by Bohs with a Mansaram hat trick

never gonna get more then 3/4 on a weeknight as theres various things to be done, id only be available weeknights after 10pm, as i have various stuff monday-thursday between 8-10....can only assume the same for most others
