I'm not flaming, I'm just expressing my opinion (which is what forums are all about), which unfortunatly the Pike supporters dont agree with (surprisingly).

Obviously some of ye are great at dishing but not taking. So lets leave it at that and move on.

your talking nonsense in all fairness abbeyvale

Newport vs Pike in jackman park Thursday night,Newport giving up home advantage .Master stroke by those in (high)places ,that means Magarry will miss his automatic one match ban and can play in the FAI against Portmarnock.Seems to be one rule for one and another rule for the rest.

I think it's only right that LDMC do anything they can to help Limerick teams playing out of town. AUL in Dublin do it all the time!

For your information this match was down as a fixture before sunday's game.

I agree, why shouldnt the LDMC try and help out the Limerick teams in the FAI, whether or not it was down for a fixture before last Sunday's game.

Just wonder if Balla had a tougher oppenant this Sunday in the FAI would they have maybe looked for a league game on Thursday night to allow both Spud and Earls play Sunday v Kilmallock??

Maybe they should have cos Kilmallock will be no push overs.

They are top of 1A and have a solid team with two good front men. Balla shouldnt under estimate them, which Im not suggesting they are by the way.

Just as well Pike got the game thrusday night,if McGarry had gotten 2 games they would have had to play again Friday night..

Quick question, Is McGarry that important to ye?

Now I think he is a very good player but ye have a big squad, if he were missing do ye have anyone that could replace him?

Is he still playing centre half for ye?

This Thursday night's Lawson cup game had been fixed since last week, and McGarry only has to serve an automatic one game ban until the report is submitted and the council decide any further punishment.

Yes he is that important to Pike
They do have replacements for McGarry but no where near as good as him.
Yes alongside Colm Enright.

Yes alongside Colm Enright.

Mcgarry is an international and the oscar traynor captain so yes he is that good.
i am sure pike would rather him miss the newport game rather than sunday !! I think most teams would do that if they could.

Doughlas Hall's second team are tough enough alright.Very well organised and very fit.Their seniors are attracting a lot of talent and filtering players down to the second side which you will be playing.Even away from home they will be strong, maybe not Pike or Clonmel Town standard but not far off.
