What's the story with the playoffs in this - 2 from each division and 2 wildcards?

Aberdonian Stu

are you student steelers?
Whoever is they only have 4 playing and -1 point

Nope that was me. I didn't get a chance to update my teams before going on holiday this weekend and was duly drubbed. I'd have still taken a pasting even if I had filled out my roster.

I'm in another league in the same format and it's just the winners of each division and one wildcard.

Yep, you won't have time for any more as most leagues use week 16 as their final

Only two 5-1 teams left in the league and they clash this week. The preview has Newbridge Wagons favourite by 1 point. Should be a close one...

Is AC Alittlesilhouettoofaman your team? If it is, you're a WR short on your starting line up. If you look at the preview, it shows eight starters for each team, but if you go to live scoring it shows my nine starters to AC's eight. All in the name of good sportsmanship of course.:D

Now, kiss my white Irish (_!_):D

heading to london on firday. Should be brilliant although I'd imagine my various Fantasy footy teams will suffer if there is any weekend injury news!

Right well I thought my 104 points should be enough to win this one but not with Tom Brady chipping in 50! Fair play anyway. 134 points is some goin Hopefully if we meet again in the postseason, Pats will have everything sewn up and will be resting starters.

And that must've been to me. Manning got 20 points last night to just miss out.

and ye robbed us at the Cross as well last night :D

feeling a little hard done by this morning - but if i had picked Derrick Ward instead of Laurence Maroney i would have got a tie - that's the hardest thing about this fantasy stuff trying to see who is active/inactive before kick off. I was full sure Maroney was the way to go after he was declared active - but he hardly got a touch. Great league tho.

Another loss for me. All my byes are over now so hopefully I should be back on track to make a push for a wild card. Pity the power rankings count for nowt:(

For those heading over to Wembley, the weather forecast is for heavy and persistent rain:mad: Still it's not going to spoil my weekend.

First for me. My previous US trips have seen either sell outs or time clashes.

Great weekend over in London despite the rain and poor quality footy. The occasion itself was still superb and the stadium was very impressive (except for the beers taps that were far too slow). Sports bar very near the stadium with a big tent out the back serving pitchers and loads of screens showing NFL footage was also top quality. Then I come back to see my team scored 156pts, although I was quickly brought back down to earth when I looked at the schedule and found out I'm playing bloody Newbridge wagons this weekend:mad:

Yeah enjoyed the day. Was shocked at how quickly the game went. Far quicker than on TV

strangeirish
01/11/2007, 2:21 PM
I watched it from the States. The field cut up pretty bad and that didn't help the quality of play. Having said that, it's about as well as the Dolphins have played this year, if you can believe that. Looked like a decent atmosphere there. Hope all who attended had a good time. Pity about the weather though. Was there any tailgating going on in the car parks prior to the game?

Dodge
01/11/2007, 2:34 PM
They wouldn't allow it. There was an "official" tailgate party but that was by ticket only. A few pubs around the area had stuff organised but didn't go to any.

Man, the Wagons ran into a buzz saw this weekend. Peterson sets an NFL rushing record along with three TD's. Drew Brees throws for over 400 yards and three TD's. Going into tonight, I'm almost 100 points behind and feel like a one legged man entering an ass kicking contest!:D

McGahee has just had a nice 33yard TD there... :p against a terrible Ravens D tonight. My team is getting better on foot.ie even though i still lost at this weekend.... again! Leading the Bohs one, should be 7-2 tomorrow even though my DST is the Ravens!!! Somehow i have Brady, Barber, Lendale White, Wes Welker, Wayne, Boldin, Gates, Hansen, Ravens DST and some good backup.

I offered you a trade there. Have a look and see what you think. It suits both of us now that Larry Johnson is injured. Reply by Thursday please.

Was away for the weekend and didn't make changes in this or my other league. Didn't matter in this league but lost 119-118 in my other league. Wanted to change my Philly D to Detroit. Philly scored 2pts and detroit scored 31:(

5-4 in both leagues now but have been scoring well in both lately so a playoff place is still possible.

Newbridge Wagons might have me this weekend :( Shoul i start Griese (he sucks) against Oakland (they suck more) or Anderson against Pittsburgh (tough defence).

Didn't even notice i topped my division last week over inchicore warriors, need to keep winning
