Pitch is booked for March 8th, Leisureworld, Bishopstown @ 6:30pm

Scotty, I'm paying my bit towards the 50 euro hire of the pitch and I'm paying no more!

And it's mine, all mine I tells ya!!! :D

It's taken pride of place next to my Timmy stress toy next to my tv. I regularly fondle it.

Rematch is lookin good, I'm not workin saturday or anything. But do the mods really want to be embarrassed by our silky skills yet again? This time we won't be taking it easy on ye....

I'm still dreamin about that one... :)

And I'm going to be fully fit for this game....

any more potty mouth like that and youll be fit for all of 2 seconds boyo!

anyways, where too afterwatds this time. Gateway was fun last time, but the fact that everywhere was full or closed by the time we left deflated the night somewhat. My suggestion thsi time is the BROG, as it is a late bar, and the age group os varied for the kids like Eanna who cant get into real places (and they allow scruffy ppl as well so ite right up eanna arse, i mean alley!)

SÓC

An Bróg is a mighty place, lost a bit of it's charm since they extended it but still IMO one of the best pubs in Cork, they play some very decent music in there too, anything from Ska Punk to Christy Moore.

The mods are planning to get stuck in a bit more stuck in this time eh?

Gary
03/03/2003, 12:39 PM
well fitness shouldnt be as big an issue this time SOC, plus ye dont ahve your RINGER!!

James
03/03/2003, 12:47 PM
da brog is an excellant venue
might i suggest that we forget about the match is bishopstown and settle the score with a good old game of table soccer.. and then we can stay in the brog all day and night :D mmm

Schumi
03/03/2003, 12:58 PM
That table football was flooded when we were down there so Ref better see if the pitch is playable first!

niamh

Seen it working since.

dahamsta

The Bróg is rubbish. It's too loud and it's full of tossers.

I have spoken.

Gary
03/03/2003, 2:55 PM
Im sure I can co-erce Neil into it! Or we have a new Mod, Bad weather fan. Maybe he will lend us a hand.

Ref
03/03/2003, 2:57 PM

Dont leave it get too comfortable there because you'll have to hand it over to the new champions at about 8.30 on Saturday.:D

James
03/03/2003, 8:53 PM
damn right and we need a new captain for the mods team also seeing as pete's been dropped :D

any suggestions??

Gary
03/03/2003, 8:56 PM
well seeing as i was the one left with that honour of being the captain of the losing team (ie the only one of us man enough to accept defeat!), i propose i keep the mantle until Petes return.

James
03/03/2003, 8:59 PM
fair nuff so GWA, but i expect you too lead by example
ie dont leave all the fouling to me like ;)

with Rangers/celtic on early on saturday, and then the rugby after that, perhap Ref needs to do a breathalyser test before the game :)

i'm sure it'll all be appearent on the pitch anyway :D

Jamie boy you need to relax, grab hold of a sheep off your bog or something

shedite
04/03/2003, 11:37 AM
looking forward to this now. are you playing ref or not? If you don't it looks like mods will be down to 4. We're going to kill ye anyway. There's no way ye can put up any sort of challenge.

Ref
04/03/2003, 11:58 AM
i'll play if teams are even (numbers wise :) )

otherwise if we have 6 v 5, i'll ref and someone from the non mods can switch sides so we'd have 5 v 5.

Not likely dude, I'll just be passing it on to another member of our unbeatable side. :D

Should be a good game, will be interesting to see if the mods will be knackered after five minutes again.

And this time, we won't be taking it easy on ye...

Is that so? Fact is WE had the driving wind AND lashing rain in our faces in the 1st half and it eased off to virtually nothing in the 2nd half.
Perennial losers always have something to complain about!!

if by 'ran more than most' you mean 'hung around the opposition box for the whole match'

Ahem, 5 goals, not afraid to cover defensively, on the winning team and actually took part in the match.........I rest my case.
