"3 and in" and "World Cup".

Also football tennis or "squares" as it was more popularly known, everyone took one of those concrete squares on the road in a housing estate that was defined by the black tar lines that seperated each slab of concrete, the tar was also great for picking and bursting the bubbles in the summer!

Squares was great crack ....... and improved skill!!!

"Kick / Tip the Can" - there's still people hiding up trees in housing estates since 1982. They're like vietnam vets that refuse to believe the war is over.

Anyone remember the finger puppet things you got with the Kimberley, Mikado & Coconunt Creams Characters on them...
I seem to recall the dog eating the Kimberley one and the other 2 being a bit "less manly"

Putting cardboard or Icepop sticks on your bike so it would hit the spokes and make noise as you rode around...

From Wiki

Wispa took the UK market by storm after its launch, but the product was
discontinued some years later when Cadbury's cited production problems with
its innovative production technique (thought to be bars breaking on the
production line);

Careless, Wispa.

Sure you're not thinking of Dream Topping? :D

Speaking of which - Trifle from the 80's - Chivers Jelly, those sponge bits, Birds Custard, Dream Topping and hundreds and thousands.

What about that instant mashed potato much, smash? Can you still get that. Used to love the add when I was a kid though with the cr@ppy robots.

Heard somewhere that that was because manufacturers packed dog food with ash to increase the weight, lost any lingering respect for Albert Reynolds when I heard that! It must be illegal now I suppose.

"Milk Mate" - it was an added flavouring to your milk. Chocolate added to Milk. Not very appealing now but seemed like a good idea to a 10 year old. Surely the next step in food revolution was to market "Cheesy Peas".

Bonfires in Neighbours Back Gardens - Some Oul fella's on the housing estate were obsessed with this. They were only happy when old tyres, bits of hedges, household items, family members were stacked up and set alight.

A local "Andrex" warehouse burned down close to a neighbours house. Police suspected Arse'in. ;)

Coat please.
