Phil Harrington seems to be the most likely option if that rumour is true

Rico will probably get the push shortly ;) :)

The Colin O'Brien who isn't arguably the laziest person ever to pull on a Limerick shirt was mentioned to me too but it's pure idle speculation still. A younger guy may suit though if we're to pursue a Hearts style situation next season...

Lim til I die is right, we seem to reference protestant clubs, sports and politics an awful lot of this website.....still think we should have chanted 'Barry Ferguson' at the Dundalk fans though.....;)

Nah, they would have thought we were saying "Massey Ferguson" and rushed out to check that no one had siphoned off their green diesel :)

Must be something to do with following a team that wear blue with the initials LFC. :)

What year were Linfield founded??

I reckon we could out-Prod them any day

Let's look at the evidence: We hate Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk, there's a growing group of us that hate Celtic and the oirish team and we're constantly complaining about things!!

All together now:
"We are the Billy Boys are we........"

 :p

Of course it's just rumour at this stage. But I did hear it from someone who is not at all interested in LFC or eL. So I reckon it is a strong rumour - if you know what I mean. Of course it will stay rumour until DD announces it to papers.

It may surprise people to hear me say this but I think we could do a lot worse than Dave Hill. Sure our disciplinary record would disintegrate to farcical proportions but he seems to have calmed a bit in the last few years. I'd take him.

Well, well.

Still, I see where you're coming from. And at this stage I'd even take Steven Staunton...

I seriously think that Hill could be a decent appointment though. He got Cobh to the playoffs IIRC right? He always had them well organised and er... quite physical for want of a nicer expression.

He's probably a strong enough personality that he wouldn't allow himself to be dictated to which is a worry of mine.

Let bygones be bygones I say and allow me to be the first to welcome Mr.Hill to the management role. :D

And ironically I was told by a club source about an hour ago that it won't be Dave Hill now after all. Apparently we're talking to a current first division manager though. If it's Danny Drew himself we're in negotiations with I swear to God I'm getting off this carnival ride once and for all! :)

It would be fishy indeed if John Gill abandoned Dundalk for us.

Fishy... gills... anybody see what I did there? Anybody at all? :p

Just so he doesnt feel left out I heard henderson is in the running also.

Any chance you could take him off our hands??

Dave Hill would be a great manager I feel he has mellowed al lot since he went to city.

I would love to see him back at cobh with the backing of the club officers which he didnt have the last time he was here.

We heard that up here as well actually, I think the reason that nobody really mentioned it is because we're afraid of lending credance to his case.

Irish Mirror says that Alan Reynolds is top of the shortlist. Also says that Tommy Lynch is in the hunt for the post.
