Game over, ball burst, for Farrelly?
has to be... if the shame of losing 6 points -so far -to Sligo (no offence, they played well tonight, but we didn't turn up) doesn't do it, the sight of a bunch of 12 year olds running onto the pitch with a 'Farrelly out' banner has to do it.......

shame of losing to Sligo?....why would you say that.we are a good side and are proving it with draws against 2 top 5 sides.

yeah, sorry, I'd didn't mean any offence against you lot - you're a better side than us at the moment, no question; it's just that we've been a whole lot better in recent memory whereas you're better now than you've been in a fair few years, which means losing to you can seem like a measure of how far we've fallen under the imposter, and how, while we're going backwards, quite a few teams are making impressive strides without indulging in the boom and bust economics pioneered by Pats, us and Shels

prior to 2nite i wud have understood the bohs board giving farrelly about 3 more games but he definitely deserves the sack after yer performance 2nite. we'll play better than that this season and gettin nothin from games. farrelly does no organising on the pitch at all. i'm not sure what yer budget is but i'm guessing around €1m and ours is near €600k and we have far better players not to mention whatever failings farrelly has in coaching&man management

That figure of 600000 i presume covers the total cost of running the club for the year, with players wages running at 12k per week for 8 months of the year equals at a rough guess 400000. I doubt Rovers players are being payed during the off season maybe the full timers get some sort of retainer.

I've never felt this before, and hope i never will again, but last night i would have cheered if Sligo had gotten another and on tues. - if i can bear to go - i hope Cork tonk us; unfortunately, Rico has a habit of sitting on one goal leads.

Put your house on Cork to beat Bohs on Tuesday. The odds won't be great but the bookies are giving away free money on this one.
I've never seen a bigger bunch of roly-poly fatsos than the Sligo Rovers team but they comfortably dismissed our "full-time professionals."
Actually the black guy who was playing up front for Sligo looked a real player - can anyone tell me his name.

Darren Mansaram (sp?) he came on against us in the Brandy and did more in that time than the other forwards the whole match.

clearly ye need some roly poly full time professionals then....you should be using the "bigger bunch of" expression for your own team
Darren "the flash" Manseram" can be the thierry henry of the eircom league" according to our manager:)

He seems to thrive on the abuse really gets him going, great free kick turned the Derry player inside out before setting up Mc Tiernan for the third. On Mc Tiernan tonight fully deserved the man of the match award gave everything he had there tonight. There is one play there tonight that sums him up towards the end of the game he broke with ball inside his own half went the whole way towards goal before getting a shot on goal. You could see he was fcuking knackered but is was pure will power that kept him going.

Also, see when McT ran acroos the whole back line trying to get the ball and when their right back was about to send it down the line,McT jumped head first in front of it to send it out for a throw.
I think thats 5 in the league now for him,he is the hardest working forward in the league, and he scores goals......Steve Staunton, take note!!!
