I've had so much trouble from sending drunken texts and I just can't help myself. Its like an automatic reaction to send messages when I'm hammered.

I used to think it was a great idea to ring ex girlfriends or possible future girlfriends at 4 in the morning.

LOL, one of the best ive heard, future girlfriends ah well, that is the best one, or those birds that you slyly get their number off someone else when ****ed and start txtn/ringing them with the most stupid txts ever, thinking you are just being friendly and thinkin they will just think the same!!! tis even worse when you wake them up/their sober and just say ah sure i just thought id give ye a ring to see how ur getting on.

The best bit about it all is that it seems like a great idea at the time. You think to yourself that you are a genius and that the other person will think the same:eek: The worst i ever done was drink a litre and a half of Vodka in the space of an hour and then proceed to ring my boss at 3am on a Sunday night / Monday morning. To this day i have no idea whether i actually spoke to him or not but when i woke up the following morning and discovered several dialled numbers that i shouldn't have dilalled i just took my sim card out of the phone and put it in another and pretended that my phone was stolen. When i met the boss he just looked at me and said " you were looking for me the other night " and my answer was that my phone had been pinched and somebody was making prank calls off it.He just smiled and said that some drunken fool had rang him and that he couldn't make sence of what they were saying so he turned his handset off.
Now i don't hold any important no.s on my phone and i never bring it out.

somebody was making prank calls off it

how did you know that, if the phone had been stolen ;) mustnt be the brightest boss.

in australia vodafone have introduced a barring system that runs from 10 - 8 in the morning , and you can bar calling 5 numbers, its a good idea in a way. but what in the case of emergency etc?

wiseguy, about not holding important numbers, what do you do when you need that IMPORTANT number.

I told him that some of my friends had received strange calls from my phone.

The only time i need these important numbers would be when i am working and i always have my organiser with me during work hours.

And talking, and talking and talking.......

Plus that lovely txt message at six in the morning when i was just climbin into bed! That because you were sick too? :D

Amazing really. You got a text at 6 in the morning cos I was replying to ones sent to me not that long before 6 in the morning from people. That is the only reason you got a text :). Plus I didn't even have your number, and whats more you didnt have mine? ....:P

Peadar, apologises for the early text, it was not done out of drunkenness but more sickliness :) I do not send drunk texts to random people. I reserve that singular pleasure for my gf.

Yeah I had ones from him and the lady above and then I get the abuse for sending the texts when I was merely replying :). Typical, We have to put up with so much Peadar :)

The text I got off Tiktok when he realised Roy had his number was class. I wish I didn't delete it :)

I had a bad night last night. Went around drinking in a few pubs and paid the price for it this morning:o.
