That Deviln episode was a blast from the past. It reminds of the old days in the LOI. There is nothing to be gained by going up against fans like that especially in the era of camera phones.

Longer video below, looks like a few objects were thrown at Devlin too

Pity a few more would forget to light a flare before firing it toward a pitch. Devlin should know better but I think he really lost it when the coin flew past his head.

Paddy McLaughlin at Cliftonville is someone teams should be keeping an eye on,came 1 point behind Linfield with I think a part time squad, knows the League of Ireland too, definitely seems a talented manager…

Plus hes an ex Derry City player too. I watch the NI league highlights show regularly and he has being superb for them this season last!

Didnt see the coin at all but saw something fired after he walked away from them! PD is gone by his sell by date. I lost respect for him the time he was hyping Steve Staunton as the next great Ireland mgr.

Pats may still finish ahead of Dundalk, but even though they lost loads of players I still thought they had a more settled squad to us. That said I think Clancy is overrated, did a ok to good job at Drogs, but not sure he is a top 3 manager, he might prove me wrong and push on but that was a dreadful score to lose at home by on Friday.

Yes, it was awful on Friday, but I won’t be flying any Clancy Out banners just yet. O’Donnell had a pretty ropey first season at Pats, there were plenty who wanted him gone at the time. Ultimately he then achieved runners up spot and a cup victory.

Got Institute promoted in his first season, when they had absolutely no money and were losing players to Inishowen League clubs. Some achievement. You'd imagine he'll be managing Derry at some point in the future.

Vague statement from Bray. What was the behaviour from the minority of fans that triggered Devlin to go over across the pitch and nearly end up in a brawl with them? Even if it was really bad and might have been justified it's a terrible look for the club and Devlin

Certainly is, and he should have known better. I recall him years ago throwing the head (though not to that extent) after a game at Richmond, so it does seem to be in his make up. Most managers I dare say have got abuse from the sidelines, most are smart enough to ignore it.

When those sort of statements are made I imagine a lawyer would draft it on behalf of the club?

Correction - as previously stated there is one good team and they were mentioned in your post. They don’t even have to win to prove that.

I think your team might have taken your last sentence here a bit too seriously.
