2-1 atm Grant Buckley for Bohs
Duffy for Dundalk

The goal seemed to push Dundalk up a gear and Bohs came back at us with the counter attacks and could be 3-1. Next goal wins it i think.

Drogs vs Bray streaming 7.45pm

https://bit.ly/2Ccm8EE

Poor restart by Drogs with 2-2 vs Rovers (although they had a great come back), great restart for Bray with a very convincing win away to Longford.

An interesting one to watch

Dear Vinny, please keep playing Cleary and Shields. Many thanks.

Good win for boez. dalk look gash at the back, and missing a midfielder to run the game If its any consolation, there's no way this league is going to reach a conclusion, as the Covid will have the last laugh.
Still, good chance for Rovers to go to Derry and extend the lead.

So was Vinny Perth planning to get 9 points for every game in the 3rd series? Is that what he meant by being geared to win over 36 games?

Dear Vinny, please keep playing Cleary and Shields. Many thanks.

Making only 1 change after last week's sh*tshow was a joke to begin with. Then he made that 1 player, Daniel Kelly, the scapegoat after 30 minutes. Wouldn't dare take off one of his mates.

It doesn't help when Patching and Oduwa are your 2 players off the bench to try rescue a game, but he signed them. There is no strength in depth in the squad anymore.

Hardly helps either when you get rid of Georgie Kelly and sign an ageing forward who is injured already.

League over.

Important to stay on top for when the league is called off due to covid.
Big win for bohs , stops it developing into a two team league early doors.
Big opportunity for rovers to go 6 clear of bohs and 8 clear of dundalk on Sunday.
Big ask to go to Derry and win but if we play like we did in the first half against harps we have a chance

If we play our game on Sunday we'll win. You can see now why Vinny tried to get the league cancelled.

Absolute shambles from Harps in that first half...and indeed since the comeback. No pace, no attempt to play football, horrible defending and worst of all no heart. Really missing a leader in the team...Trap door beckons unless we do something quickly this season

Just seeing Danny Mandroiu's tweet

Regarding the team news that @bfcdublin sent out earlier, what was said was completely untrue, I am out injured at the moment. Im sure you will hear this from the club too eventually but I just wanted to clear that up for myself and my reputation.

How have Bohemians actually put out "Danny Mandroiu (gargled)" in a press release?!

Really was a gift wrapped win for Pats. 2 good finishes from Kelly though, shame he didn’t get the hattrick from the couple of other good chances he had but it’s not a bad complaint to have

That Sligo v Shels game was an enjoyable watch. I’d be impressed with Sligo since the restart, some turnaround as they were awful at the start of the season. The Waterford v Cork game could be put in the same entertainment category as mass & paint drying.

1st half of Waterford v Cork City was a non event. The first 20 mins of the 2nd half was quite open with plenty of chances. Galvin was very good for us. When he went off injured we did nothing and Waterford probably should have won it in the end.

2-0 win for us. Sam Verdon with 2. Should have scored more. Ireland under 19 mgr Tom Mohan was at the game!

I dunno if we were awful at the start. Fair enough we lost 4 games but we were reasonably competitive in those games. The trouble was all the injuries to players and players being played out of position. Seems a long time ago now. Team looking balanced and everybody knowing their jobs. Some very good players nearly ready to come in too. Real competition for places in the squad which is always a good thing.

Aye things flipped on their head from other seasons after 7 or so games. We all knew that any side that showed form could get in to or fall out of the mix. A return of the Dublin Derby hoodoo, beat Rovers and Bohs in Oriel, clatter in a 6 or 7 nil win agains someone and we're grand....

Some slightly odd squad selections, not playing a number of the form players from the friendlies, complacency in defence and I think underestimating how other clubs' players have worked on keeping their fitness levels up. Bohs and Pats were able to go for the full 90, Sligo were able to press to the final whistle in games ive seen. Them and Bohs have the tails up. The rest its a good result followed by a poor one - Dundalk in relegation form and Rovers yet to play a second game. Maybe Derry will have the bit between the teeth tomorrow - please and thank you in advance:o

Vinnie, if your downplaying that game deliberately, then fine, but otherwise you were watching a different game to me.
Rovers filleted Harps in the 1st half and coasted the 2nd half.
Another win up in Derry and I'd like to think Rovers will have a firm hand on what they're trying to achieve this season.

Thought we were excellent yesterday but 2 wins doesn’t mean we’re suddenly challenging for Europe just like the 4 defeats in a row at the start didn’t mean we were certs for relegation. The new signings seem to be fitting in very well. Seymour and DeVries have been really good and Junior to come ahead of the game in Turners Cross next week.

I can only judge from the game I saw in the showgrounds in February which feels a lifetime ago now. It was an atrocious night for football, we where no great shapes and the didn’t have to sweat for the result. I think Bucko needed a break to be honest, when he is on track he is one of the best managers in the league.

Poor game, rovers controlling it without doing a lot and fall behind to a goal that was a cross into the box that lopes missed a header on and manus didn't have time to react to keep out.
Rovers need to step up a gear to get back into this,
