I'm presuming obviously, and I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you. But I wouldn't be surprised if there was a clause in the contract that said it wasn't allowed to be referred to as Lansdowne Road in these circumstances. Even calling it the "Dublin Stadium" invites the question of "Why isn't it the Aviva?", which is what Aviva want.

(For the record, I don't know if there's a single corporate ground name I don't hate.)

The Cork-Legia match is being streamed on the following platform.

Dundalk streamed a friendly with Glentoran on this platform at the weekend and the quality was excellent.

Great news for Cork fans unable to get tickets and for other LOI fans who want to see the game.
Tickets were on sale for close to 6 weeks, I'd say every genuine City fan who wanted a ticket got a ticket.

Glad that Legia fans in Poland can watch it though. I'd have been very annoyed if I couldn't watch a European game.

Pretty sure it's the Dublin Stadium for UEFA events as Aviva are not UEFA sponsors.

But sure if anyone here wants to stump up in excess of €10m pa to JD you could call it whatever you want. The 'Denis O'Brien just pay your f*@!ing taxes and spare us MO'N's hoofball theatre of dreams' mightn't trip off the tongue, but it's more meaningful and heartfelt than most corporate deals. Now where'd I put that Euromillions ticket...?

Possibly the issue, I'd wager that it's a phone video and either 4G or Corks Wi-Fi keeps dropping on them.

Disaster either way. I rushed home to watch it.

Stream not too bad now - it's held for a good 15 seconds anyway. Maybe some people have dropped off.

Quality not great alright. But better than nowt.

It seems to be working decently enough now. Only thing is the commentary goes slightly out of sync with the picture at certain points.

Might be something to do with Aviva trying to ensure that all mention of the proper name is kept to a minimum so as to protect the sponsorship investment? I still think of the Budweiser Irish Derby, and it hasn't been that for a decade, which means the current sponsor (I had to look it up!) hasn't managed to get value from its spend.

There are ways around ads on the RTE Player. I don't get any.

This is the same stream Dundalk used on their web page last week that never buffered once during the match.

Don't know where the RT� ip is or whether it will have commentart=y on it?
