LiveOnSat.com (http://liveonsat.com/los.soc_int_UEFA_europa.php) is a handy site that provides broadcasting information for televised football matches around the globe.
As well as being shown on Eir Sport, Levadia-Cork will be broadcast by the Austrian-based LAOLA1.tv International (https://www.laola1.tv/en-int/home/). For anyone who won't have access to Eir Sport, I'm told their streams are pretty good quality, although I'm also told you'll probably need the Hola extension on your browser to access the match stream through an Austrian or (preferably) a German proxy.
Midtjylland-Derry is to be broadcast by Danish channel 6'eren (https://twitter.com/6erendk?lang=en), so online streams are bound to appear closer to kick-off, which is at 19:00 (Irish time).
Stjarnan-Rovers kicks off at 20:15 (Irish time), but there's no indication that it's to be televised.
Rosenborg-Dundalk in Trondheim on the 19th of July will be broadcast (https://www.mynewsdesk.com/no/mtg-tv/pressreleases/rosenborgs-uefa-champions-league-kvalifisering-paa-viasat-4-2031477) on Norwegian channel Viasat 4 (http://www.viasat4.no/). It'll also be streamed on Viaplay (https://viaplay.no/) (although it looks like you'd have to pay for a month's subscription costing about 299kr/£27/€30 to get access). I'd imagine free streams will pop up elsewhere on the day.
BatmanStream.com (https://www.batmanstream.com/football-live-streaming-video-2016-18.html) and FootballStreamings.com (http://www.footballstreamings.com/live-streams.html) are usually pretty good for sourcing free streams.

anyone know when was the last time rte showed the FIRST qualifying round of Europe?? And this against a none-too-recognisable team for the uninitiated... I remember Drogheda against Kiev but that was the second round...?

ha well I just meant when was the last time RTE showed the *first* game of any Irish team's European campaign... The Drogheda game was
also in the 2nd QR but it was their second game and it was against Dynamo Kiev who are reasonably well known.. ie its not unusual for rte to jump on the bandwagon after a tie or two but here clearly Dundalk's success last year has committed them to start from this round...

Drogheda beat Levadia Tallinn in the round before playing Kiev.

They showed both legs of City v Apollon Limmasol and against Red Star Belgrade in 2006.

I wouldn't, as I don't have EIR, means I can record the home match and watch the away leg in my own house now!

I was amazed Preston allowed Maguire to stay so long in July, I would have taken him on 1st July. If he gets injured its no skin of Cork's noses as he was leaving, but I wonder did Preston have a clause in the contract for that?

I'd imagine the transfer and money don't kick in til he leaves. He's got a minimum 3 more games for us so there's no way they're just hoping he doesn't get injured.

Dundalk's game in Tallinn on Thursday is being broadcast on Delfi TV in Estonia. It could be possible to source a stream of it. Alternatively, the club could try streaming it themselves like they did for the friendly against Glentoran the other day.

That would depend on Tallinn permitting it, as far as I know. Home teams have full control over broadcasts for these games, so presumably Dundalk would either need to set up their own camera and ask Levadia to waive the fee or buy the feed off the TV network.

Reading about Cork's home tie with Legia in the papers this morning is bringing back great memories Dundalk's home tie with Legia two years ago.
30,000 in the Aviva (sorry, Dublin Stadium), and the Irish sporting public and media fully behind Dundalk.
https://www.sportsfile.com/winshare/p180/Library/SF652/1203281.jpg
That Dundalk side believed they could take on anyone, and they came so so close.
Over to the Cork lads now, I hope you get a better referee on the night.

Completely irrelevant but a bugbear of mine - why don't people call it Lansdowne Road when referencing the national stadium if they can't use Aviva. Mind boggling. I might write a letter to the FAI about this. :)

All clubs should do this if their games aren't on tv, run a few adds and earn a few bob too, harder to do on YouTube from the start but maybe easier on other platforms.

Because the FAI don't want "Lansdowne Road" gaining any traction; it would impact the use of the term "Aviva Stadium" and any future commercial naming rights.

Would it really? God, people called it the Aviva Stadium pretty much straight away - when for over 100 years it was known as LR. I don't think a few minor reverts back to the old name when required would make an iota of difference. Maybe the Marketing guru's can prove otherwise.
A huge pity for example if we qualify for the 2020 Euro's that the games at the stadium will likely revert to "Dublin Stadium" instead of Lansdowne Road.
Back on topic, still a possibility that CCFC could stream the game tonight according the the Rebel Radio team, who will have YouTube comms instead if not. I'd keep an eye on social media throughout the day.
Edit - sorry missed the post above ref. same.
