yeah on clare league website game at 2pm in ballingarry.. cant understand why they did not switch it last weekend once Olympic pitch was unplayable ? good footballing team Olympic and on a roll at the moment winning games /scoring plenty of goals and won divisional cup 2 weeks back ,to be honest I would fancy them to win game even away from home :ball:

Broadford look like there running away with the league at this stage very hard team to break down and should be a good game in the next round of the Munster Junior with NCW playing NCW Rovers

5 nil to Killarney, could have been such a different game, they kept down the ball and passed it well and used every inch of the astro. McCarthy and the other lad up front ( cant pronounce or spell his name ) were lively and on the move for the full game, took the lead deservedly through sloppy play in the middle by Ballingarry and pushed it out wide and a great cross met by an equally good touch into the far corner. The second goal cane through a free kick which was questionable harsh i thought personally, the free kick took a wicked deflection and went in.

I said the game could have been different as after this ballingarry actually took control of the game and missed 3 great chances one from kevin forde who hit the post francis kiely denied by a great save and dean clancy who missed what only described as a sitter as the ball took an awful bounce on the unfamiliar astro playing surface. Killarney came back with two goals one an own goal from a low cross and a great strike by Mccarthy into the top corner.

In the second half ballingarry came out looking for pride Dean Clancy was switched into the centre and started controlling the game for Ballingarry pick out some fine balls dropping right back to collect it off the back four, Clancy got a very nice ball off Kevin Forde and took a nice flick around the defender in the box and was taken down for a penalty, Francis Kiely missed the resulting penalty summing up that it was most definitely not their night, As the heads dropped Killarney took back the control of the game and finished off the game with again good play and a sweeping cross in and finished nicely, The better and stronger team won on the night, scoreline was a bit harsh as it could have been a lot different.
