Bad turn out for the Desmond team against clare last weekend. 12 players traveled and that's including joint mangers john kelliher and ray lynch.

Could the management not have called up players? A lot of premier teams didn't have any games at the weekend.
Its bad when any team only has 12 not to mention a team representing the league

Some tricky games this weekend i know i have Abbeyfeale to loose but it would be great to see them progress. I think NCW v Rovers will be a great game i have seen rovers a couple of time this year and they are playing some fantastic football it should be a great game but i think NCW will just get over the line

Ray Cahill hat trick for Carrig. In penalty shoot out Carrig scored their first three, Rathkeale missed their first three. Rockhill came from a goal down at half time to beat Shannonside 2-1, their first win in the premier

was at ncw derby today.1-1 at half time.whealan put afc ahead,cussen equalised from a free kick.not many chances but would say rovers had slightly the better of it in the first half.better composed on the ball.second half continued same as first leading to rovers leading from corbett.afc responded within 2 minutes to equalise from hurley.good strike.afc started to get on top then for the next 10 minutes and maybe if they scored might have held on.rovers weathered the storm and scored after poor defending from afc scorer callaghan.same player scored again a couple of minutes later to seal it for rovers.rovers finished the stronger and could have scored one or two more near the end.overall rovers deserved the win solely on the style of football they played.looked very composed at times.afc seemed just too long ball and o keefe mopped up most of it.good win for rovers.will be a good addition to premier if they get promoted which they should

6-1 to Abbey, played in Clounreask. Desmond Youths beat WWEC Youths 7-0, don't know if that was enough to take them through or not. NCW could have got a tougher draw than NUIG but they are much weaker than last season so I think they will bow out, hope I'm wrong though.

Keith Hartnett is on the Limerick county football panel at the minute and playing quiet well by all accounts, he's not even training or playing with Pike at the minute because of his football involvement. So there is definitely no truth in the resigning for Rathkeale I's say. Next season maybe :)
