We were happy enough with the point away from home missing 7 or 8 fellas and considering the hiding we got up there not so long ago!
The ref was cat fruice do you not agree

Awful but at this stage we are nearly worse to let him get to us! He has cost us plenty over the years! The worst about him is there is no reasoning with him! He doesn't blow for an obvious decision which is what drives most fellas mad!

I know but its hard for it not to get to you and to think he gets the same money as the best refs

Want to thank Leeview FC for their actions and help tonight after our player J. Carey had a serious injury late on in the game. Much appreciated from all at Carrig. Also a special mention to Mr Corcoran Sr, 1for, for his help and support. Hopefully John will make a speedy recovery and we see him back in the Carrig jersey soon.

another year another cup draw and another bye for ucc b again its getting a joke now every season they get bye from 1st round cups draw cause they aint back at collage yet joke !!! aul needs to get a grip and either not enterd them or they fulfill a 1st round fixture and not give them a freebee !

Very interesting point Killer, one which long has been a sticking point in my mind for years. I wonder what reaction you would get if next year you asked on behalf of your club that due to holidays and work etc etc you not play a fixture till the end of September.............oh and you'd like to be given a bye in all relevant competitions as well.:p

JRyno
04/09/2013, 3:36 PM
From the AUL perspective, if there's no players there until the end of September, there's no team... But it was an issue for me in Div 3 for years with them too!

Rules are rules, the league starts on a certain date, cups are entered to be played in,,,,,,,,,,,,all teams are treated equal and all get a fair crack of the whip,,,,,,,,,with maybe one little exception, maybe they think know one will notice :p

have to agree with killer to every team would love a bye why should they be put through to the second round if it was luck of the draw fine but we all know it has nothing to do with luck.
