didnt do a great deal. their keeper made a blunder for our first. our keeper made s blunder for their equaliser. they tried to play it on the ground but their passing let them down. they only had twelve players with them. duno what that was about.
What were Wexford like?
They sound like they put in a good bit of work pre-season too
Agree with what DM says above and not been lazy(or maybe a wee bit :) ) but ForzaForth also gives a fair & good report on the game in the Wexford Y.section.

A match report is due on our website over the next few days. It was played at St.Andrews, Dundees training ground.
It was mostly under 19's that played I'm it for us with a couple of senior players.
The squad and management team were invited by Celtic to today's match also and Pat Purcell went on to the pitch at half time to be introduced to the home crowd and to do the paradise draw.
Friendly coming up against a Hibs XI.

Harps 1-2 Derry
Patterson and Curran for Derry. McVeigh for Harps.
Good run out for both sides with the managers using the game to give a few lads a run out that probably wouldn't normally play.
Harps easily won midfield but Derry won all other departments. We didn't really look like scoring while Patterson and Ryan Curran looked threats for Derry.

Would you give over, I saw you crying on the Derry forum too. Youth groups see taking flags as trophies these days (although you could hardly call a Harps flag a trophy) You defended your flag so no big deal. Lesson learned for you.

I think they're still upset about not being served up an entertainment fest in the friendly with Harps last week. It's not your fault you're no Ballinamallard United.

Coming from you I'll take that as a compliment.
But why even bother mention it here it's not like the little shiites post here or you will get Derry fans defending them? It's just bitter.

Possibly but according to the limerick twitter it was strong enough. I don't know anything about Scottish football to be honest so wouldn't know if it was strong or not.
We seem to be mixing up the team in the two friendlies over with a few unnamed trialists, new signings, last years senior players and under 19's that are now over age for next season. The players that don't play in the match tale part in a high intensity training session.

Hibs went on to score a late winner in a very competitive and even game. The management were delighted with the performance against a very strong Hibernian side.
The team was as follows
Ryan, Tiffoney, (Triallist), O'Callaghan, Williams, Tracey, Gamble, O'Leary, Bradley, Bossekota, Curran
Subs:
Folan, Costelloe, (Triallist), Rainsford, Daly
Remaining squad will take a high intensity training session at Hib's training ground.

That's very close to what will be our starting 11. Maybe 1 or two changes to it.

Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that they will play Premier League side, Aston Villa in a friendly game at Tallaght Stadium in August.
The Hoops will play host to the Lions in the game which will take place at 3pm on Sunday, August 4 at the Tallaght venue.
Villa, who have secured their Premier League status for the 2013-14 season, will conduct their pre-season training camp in Germany before playing a number of friendlies in preparation for the new campaign, including this one against Shamrock Rovers.
A number of fans are expected to travel from Birmingham for the game, and it should be a great day out for Shamrock Rovers and Aston Villa fans alike.
Ticket details are being finalised and will be announced in due course
