I doubt it unless he is being released by Limerick. He is playing every game at the moment so can't see that happening.

Thought you said it before. Must be mistaken.
Only finished up a few weeks so no movement to or from the club at the moment, same as most clubs I'd say.

albert sla is the new carew manager best of luck to him.
Aidan Ryan turned it down apparently,
I can't see Aidan Ryan managing any premier team in town next season.you can be sure he will be approached by a few teams but for the last few years he has been linked to different sides and all the speculation has come to nothing.
Eddie Hickey and ian bennis got the view job.
They should be ok on a sunday next season so if goalie doesnt show up :)
Are you sure bout that thomas

Don't think so....
Heard they not wanted up there...... poison chalace up there. Would be hard to keep certain individuals happy up there, new committee with little expectations......
Going to be a tough year for them.... Players leaving, cant see them attracting good players. Some good young players up there but you need the experience players aswell.... Interesting few weeks ahead... Let me know when they do appoint someone so i can wish him/them well.......
Anything else happening around lads..

really put the boot in there.
poison chalice(note spelling) little expectations, players leaving etc...
and yet you wish them well??
the commitee should do fine this year.
granted it could be a transition period, but every club goes through that.
would rather have that, and build again, then go down other quick fix routes.

wish him and the rest of the committee all the best....some good people have come on board this year.
don't know about CD....you hear of people moving everywhere this time of the season.
a lot of people will wait to see what way the land lies before putting pen to paper.
i do know that one or two players, from outside the league will be coming in to play a few friendlies,so we will see how it goes.
hopefully we will keep the best of the younger lads, but they are under pressure, commitment wise,as some are going to college, and working part time the week ends.
we might lose some players, but they may not be as big a loss as some people may make out....
it is very hard to motivate players, when they have won the lot, some a few times,to play to their potential in the lashing rain on a cold december.
local trophies do not hold their interest anymore

by the way,if you read the post i said it is hard to motivate them, that local trophies do not hold their interest anymore.
i have seen that in the last few seasons.
big turnouts for major comps. etc..not so much for loacl matches
but it is hard to see what is going on in the fairgreen from rathuard

What a stupid post when was the last time fairview won a league, according to the players and last years manager was they wanted to win local trophies, and every side has to play in the rain and cold.

I actually agree with the above post.fairviews biggest problem in last 18mths is a lack of interest from their players in a lot of games.maybe there better off trying to rebuild with young lads.the 2 lads should be given a chance.they have both played at a high level over the years and were both top goalkeepers.apart from christy Doyle I couldn't see many of the fairview players starting regularly with pike or fairview.they would be better off staying where they are

Local cups are the bread and butter of any club,to go on and win a national cup is a bonus.
Did you not read my post.

Do you ever learn... what has a schoolboy objection goto do with this thread. The ldsl with deal with this objection on its merits...rules are rules and if an error was made in filling out the card sort it out with the guy who filled out the card........end of story... the player in question played the more than a few minutes(fine player). it would be more in Pikes interest to look after their own players and let Janesboro look after Janesboro's players.

Leather as you said it has nothing to do with this thread, but yere 14's would have won no cup without the 5 pike players who went to ye after pike had to withdraw their 14s.but as you said not for this thread.as you said rules are rules and ye know that too well,
leather
04/06/2012, 3:21 PM
They might not have won the cup , but we did not withdraw pikes team... only trying to give the kids a game of ball... and yes we like yourselves have fallen foul of the rules and were punished in line with the rules..
we are all agreed so lets leave it at that..

good to see the two limerick lads getting a chance, hopefully they will do well ,its p.mullins second trial afaik so another opportunity for him.word around is that p.mcgarry has made it as well, which is also great news, but baffling ,in that is he not recovering from a longterm injury?
