4-0 in Sligeach now. Alan Keane. Any guesses as to the final score? I'll go for 7-0.

Well I was close. Town won 2-1 by the way for anyone who missed that ground breaking news.

Sounds suspicious. A buddy of mine told me that they would be well beaten tonight and to bet big on it.

Seannie Con. He also had a bet on sonething that involved two flys walking on a wall !!

Amateur hour, should be a fine...

Unfortunately for us the taxpayer doesn't pay for the maintenance of our floodlights.

Sligo weren't 1/20 in the bookies for no reason. A hammering was always on the cards. Meant to back them to win to nil, luckily I didn't.

We're just ****e. Most of the players fought hard for 90 minutes but they're just not up to it at this level at all.

Felt sorry for Galway alright. I don't think they have one player who is up to it at this level. A couple who you would think could do better but seem to be caught up in the general malaise at the club. Hard to blame them to be honest.

I'd say Alan Murphy is the only player who's good enough. A few of the young lads like Gary Kelly and Stephen Walsh have the potential to be but aren't up to it yet.

What bookie actually devised the odds on Galway winning? Name and Shame.

In all seriousness I actually can't remember what the odds on Galway actually were. Presumably somewhere round 12/1 maybe? JC_GUFC is Paddy Power's resident expert. I highly doubt anyone took them up on it anyway.

Any chance the Shams fans could arrange a collection for us? We're falling a bit behind with the electricity bill.

On the game itself, first time I've ever seen the losing team time-wasting...and they were doing it after 2 or 3 down.

Yep 33/1 if you shopped hard.My Brother, who is a bookie was giving 40/1 to anyone that was willing to stick a score or more on it.He only got one taker,a guy who had lifted near 800 quid of a horse double.General price in high street was 20's.

If Derry and Cork are anything to go by, a year or two in the First Division might be exactly what the younger players need to make the step up.

Galway plugged away and kept pride in the shirt, the meagre travelling support bore events with dignity and humour, a season or two down below and they will be back.

Fair play to the Galway fans who did travel, I was expecting less of them tbh. On the game thought we were very good , could have gotten double figures easily. Good to see everyone is in top form coming into this time of the season. Russell was excellent.

Thought the Drogheda keeper looked very ropey first half, especially for crosses. However a magnificent performance from him second half to keep the score down. Nice to be able to leave the likes of Twigg, Rice and Finn on the bench for a rest.

Anyone hear about the floodlight failure at the showgrounds last night being added to the every increasing mountain of evidence about this "financial investigation" into our financial misconduct, what have the ever vigilant "inside sources" on the always ultra forum got to add to this?

By "your lot", do you mean the bohs forum where it was originally stated? Seriously, how many times does this have to be pointed out to you before you understand it?

Sure, we could hold a kids tickets' raffle at €15 a piece..

I thought Drogheda would be more tough and Gary O'Neill scored. McCormack very impressive again..it's all good.

Funny how you dont claim to have "inside sources" now and just fob it off onto Bohs fans because when your lot were doing your menstrual screaming about this "financial investigation" there wasnt a word about it originating with Bohs fans.
Your a good auld laugh.

i'd love you to quote anywhere that i said i had "inside sources" about anything to do with your club. in fact, i can guarantee you won't be able to. every single time i come on here for a read, i end up logging out and wondering how the people i meet in sligo before games can be so different to the sligo fans on here. maybe when you start secondary school it might improve, but i won't hold my breath.

...perhaps you talk sense when you are down in Sligo as opposed to your efforts here ? It might explain the different reaction you attract :cool:

You must have the memory of a goldfish or something. As I have pointed out to you before here are the relevant threads from both the Bohs and Rovers forums:

http://www.thebohs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15016&view=next Thread started Thu Nov 25, 2010 11:34

http://srfcultrasforum.eu/forum/showthread.php?861-Under-the-table-payments Thread started 25-11-10 11:58

Now I'm sure even someone of your intelligence can tell the time and can see where the rumour appeared first. The thread starter on the Rovers forum even states he heard "rumours" - and doesn't claim once he has "inside sources" as you put it or "menstrual screaming". Perhaps you should go to a doctor and ask him to prescribe you something to help with the voices in your head telling you that those nasty Shams fans on the internet are claiming to have inside sources and are menstrually screaming about Sligo's finances.
