Life is full of highs and lows, one minute you're looking at boobies, the next you're drenched in somebody's p!ss.

Er...Call him up Trap? Seriously, though, this is frustrating (as well as totally gross) - he gets released by Aston Villa but starts to build a reasonably decent career at MK Dons, with the result that he could be brought into the Senior international squad in the not-too-distant future...and then he does this. I hope he knuckles down and realises that he could yet be a reasonably talented player with a fine career rather than being a reasonably talented player who knocks around the lower leagues, because he'd rather indulge in regular drunken horseplay (sorry, couldn't resist). Interestingly, one of his partners-in-crime at Cheltenham was former U-21 international James Collins, who seems to be fully committed to bouncing around Leagues One and Two.

Well said and good point re Collins. He has had some very good goalscoring seasons down there but hasn't kicked on sufficiently. Getting 15 league goals in League One at the age of 22 would lead me to believe there's enough ability there to push on.

Most of us have done some stupid drunken things but this was the middle of the day and he doesn't appear inebriated and we haven't done that, I hope.

It's not just ignorant but it's also disrespectful and reflects terribly on himself and his club. That would lead me to believe the action MK Dons take will be quite harsh and the reputational damage he has done himself will take a long time to mend.

Love the Indo. It's headlines on this went from Carruthers being a 'ROI football star' to being a 'former Ireland star'. Consistency at its best.

His take on it doesn't fit with the facts, this part did not happen "throwing a glass of píss over people? "
