Look an appeal at a junior game is frivillous, the commitee will always back up the ref bar him admitting to a mistake and without the access to replays that won't happen.

If referee has any common sense he'll admit he made a mistake

My prediction that balla could upset pike seemed to good to be through, but still think it will be a Carrick - St.Michaels final. Michaels have made serious inroads this year and i think they will just be too strong for Pike this time!

My semi final line up would be
Carrick Utd v Aisling Annacotty
Pike Rvs v St.Michaels

Pike v Carrick in the final (and Pike to win it)

The above was originally posted on Feb 20th before 1/4 final stage, so 3 out of 4 aint bad, but I'll still go with Pike v Carrick in the final, and Pike to win it.

I say you did well in Cheltenham if your guessing was that good

everyone at the game knew the sending off was wrong, thats all people are saying, plus it would take a good MAN to admit he made a mistake.

i would just like to say congrats to wembley.they got a well deserved result against aisling with 10 men for about 50 mins.
best of luck against carrick.i think wembley will give carrick a game though they will miss the two lads that were sent off.jason sheehan to come in and do a job in midfield for them after his altitude training.

It will be played in Ozier Park in Waterford City, good surface and a big open field suitable for any good footballing team.

Lads, where did the Ashlin v Wembly match take place????? Was it on the new pitch and if not why???

It took place on their grass pitch next to new Astro Turf, when i say Grass pitch i mean bunker and when i say pitch i mean Buiding site. Pitch was a disgrace,
the reason been that Aisling were waiting for approval of FAI to use Astro but didnt get it in time. The Astro is State of the Art, great job Aisling.

who was sent off for them?

barry dillon and sham(seamus??)barry was a bit unlucky but sham's was just stupid.5-1 up at the time and game already over

who was sent off for them?

Barry Dillon sent off before half time (2 yellows)
Seamus Mulcahy sent off with 25 to go (2 yellows)
Both silly 2nd yellows, Wembley surely to struggle against Carrick minus their 2 regular centre midfielders

Ya we will miss the two lads in the semi as both are having good seasons, its tough for the two boys to miss out on such important game but its a lesson both need to learn from. But we have squad of players to deal with these types of situations and oppurtunities arise for other players. We are definetly rank outsiders amongst the teams left but cup football who knows.

Wonder if St.Michaels will travel, they cited "possible risk to personal safety" to the Munster council as a reason to not travel to Limerick Last year during Arbitration After MJC ruled in favour of a rematch in Limerick....

I can guarantee you Saints will be well supported Saturday night as they always are when they travel. The club has always been well supported in good times and bad nothing has changed there. We are all looking forward to a good sporting game Saturday night and hopefully celebrating on our 30 min journey home!

Any odds up yet for the matches?? Pike - St. Michaels should be a cracker, 2 of the best junior teams in the country (by far) in my own opinion. Best of luck to both teams in what should hopefully be a thrilling encounter, well for the neutrals anyway :D

Be a huge task for us soreloser to turn carrick over, but the team has earned the right to take part in the semi final and im sure we will give it everything.Injuries and suspensions are adding up so our full squad will be needed. To be in competing with 3 huge teams is great for the club.

Ah stop.revenge is too strong a word to be used in football. If anything Pike should not dwell too much on last year and stick to the football they have been playing all season to win 30 games on the trot (I think).

St.Michaels will be thought a footballing lesson on sat night the support for pike will be huge just like the score line. Pike have Alan Barry and Pat Moloney two of the countrys best strikers and harnett all of whom have over 80 goals between them how only 1 has being called up for Ireland is a joke. Good Luck Pike

Delaney wont be needed to do ye favours this year, there is objections and then there is "objections". It'll all be put to bed this saturday night anyway. Last year pike beat em 4-2 i think, i expect pike to score another 4.

They have Delaney on speed dial just in case pike put 4 past them over this comment Star's Headline "Delaney Probing Match Fixing Between Pike And St.Micheals" It will be a good game though Pike 3-1, pike had a hard game last night 1 or 2 injurys should be grand for sat though
