they have one game left but unless they win the appeal they cant win it, not sure about promotion though

may be wrong here but if they win last game they will have 37 points !! if they win appeal they will have 40 points .. meaning they are champs / moyross 2nd on 39 and shannon third on 38 points  so still a tense finish to season for all 3 teams

I'd say Dromore and Moyross final. Have a feeling Dromore could take the cup. They are playing much better and have finished the season with a few players they didn't have at the start.

unfortunatly its out of your hands and the gloriours ldmc will make the decision and god only knows what that will be :p .. its a pity afer a long hard season it comes down to an objection to sort out league winners & promotion places.. but if teams play illegall player/s they deserve to get punished for it .. only problem is the ldmc seem to pick & choose which objections they want and tend to ignore quite a few also ..

st pauls getting slated for doing this, funny how the shannon boys didnt pick up on this, oh i know why, they are still bitter at losing in the cup and putting in objections :p

First of all we are not bitter. Second, no objection was ever put in by shannon town

True , some teams have played illegal players, but why would the LDMC listen to this when Shannon lodged an appeal over the cup against St Pauls over the same thing.

i think you might want to check up on this

Lets be honest here, for 15 years or more St.Pauls have been playing illegal players. I just want to know where they will get 11 "legals" for their 3B cup final friday night under the watchful eye of the LDMC???

That's some comment, but before you go running your mouth you'd want to go and get all your facts straight. Shannon Town never put in an objection, we probably should have though because as far as i can see most teams in limerick know ye yer game with illegal players. We don't hold grudges either, fair play to ye yer A team deserved to beat us in the cup they were the better team..:p We know ourselves we played the real St Pauls ''B'' team out in Shannon and we know how that ended up..:p

No need to apologize trigger, the objection didn't go in. We decided to just concentrate on the league, but we messed that up on sun :excruciating:

i would imagine like most clubs they have signed approx 16-20 players for their A team at start of season so should have no problem puttin out 11 players from squad for a final :)

hold up, where has this ye, yer, business come from, who said i play for them ? even if their a team players did play for them we are not talking about 4 or 5 divisions higher like most clubs around town its a matter of one division higher wich in my opinion is hillarious, and as for the objection bit im only going on previous post by OTHER people on this site, so i think you would want to get your facts straight and deal with the person who suggested shannon put in an objection

if A team players did play for b team even if they are only 1 division above it is still playing illegal players and against the rules ... :ball: but as no objection put in by shannon town that should be the end of it ...

your dead right, no point arguing about it, it may seem like im fighting someones corner here but to be honest i couldnt care less about st pauls, all im saying is there isnt much that can be done about it cos its happening everywhere and has been and will be for a long time, if shannon didnt put in an objection then i believe it cos its probably a waste of time dealing with the ldmc they couldnt care less either best of luck to all next season:ball:

Sure thing. Mungret had about 18 - 20 players turn up. We had 13. Mungret were completely out of shapes for the first 30 mins and we played our best football this season for the first 30 mins. Dromore went one up in the first few mins through a great strike from Seamus Lyons after a good run. 2-0 then when a ball over the top was collected by Jonathan Horgan who slotted a well taken finish after about 15 or 20 mins. 3-0 then with a penalty won by Paul Fitzgerald. He got up to smash it home. Dromore fell asleep for the last 15 mins of the first half and Mungret got a penalty on the stroke of half time whch Alan got a hand to but it went in to the onion bag.

Second half Mungret came out fighting hard but we got two more goals to make it 5-1 with 20 mins to go and it could have been a lot more in fairness. Paul Fitzgerald went on a run and slotted it under the keeper for a well taken individual goal. The game was over at this stage and Mungret threw a few more players up front. Billy Morrissey put some respect on the scoreline when he ran on to a through ball, then turned back and averted sliding tackles and rounded two players before lashing it off the keeper and it fell back to him again and he poked it home!

To be honest I dont think Mungret played as well as they have against us in the past but Dromore keep getting better with every game. The referee blew for everything.. any tackle or contact between players was met with a free kick and mostly justified so no complaints with him. Semi final next and we are at home for that. We will be going all out obviously to get to Jackman Park and end our disasterous league campaign with a trophy :-)

I thought the scoreline flattered Dromore a bit today. Even enough game but we took our chances. Other than that Poloman's report is spot on.

Dromore won, they deserved the victory, they fought hard overall for the whole game and kept their shape. As poloman stated we had no shape for the first 30 minutes. But none the less Dromore did play some lovely ball and they deserve to march on
