Whereas everyone knew Haprs would be a banana skin for Franchise tonight, don't think anyone expects Waterford to slip up tomorrow.

Felix Healy really is a tool of the highest order! No matter what question about the game or the league Daire asks him he keeps going on about how the league is fooked money wise!!

I wouldnt expect a slip up either, but with Cronin against us for the first time, i expect him to put everyone behind the ball and try stop us from scoring

Seemed strange that he was having a go at Rovers when they are being held up as the business model for other clubs to follow.

Good day for us. We weren't great against Kildare, we had more of the ball and looked more threatening but didn't really test their keeper too often. He only really had to make one good save near the end of the first half and the goal was pretty messy but playing crap and winning is what's got Shels to the top of the division so I'll live with that. I didn't expect Fingal to lose but Harps looked decent both times they played us.

Big game against Shels next week, if they win, they'll have a big gap. We'll have to play a bit better than the last few games to have a chance though.

Somebody asked whats happening to Mervue with heavy defeats recently.Just to point out they are a completely ameteur team, nobody is getting paid. The players do a days work then go training and playing matches. How much are Shel's players on?
Obviously with Kildare in that division they wont finish last but i still think they will finish comfortably mid table.I think it's more the fact that they were very competitive earlier in the season. Ourselves and Shels only beat them with late goals and they got some good results against other midtable teams. I was surprised that they conceded so many goals in the last two games.

Wonderful display from the Harps youngsters last night. We're now 5 league games unbeaten winning 3 and drawing 2.
Considering Harps were down 9 players from the last time they played Fingal, it makes the achievement even better.
In truth I think 3-2 flattered Fingal.

One of the worst offside decisions I have ever seen in my life following this league for waterfords 3rd goal. To say he was offside would be an understatement. ****ing raging.

De Town

2 of the most ridiculous offside decisions. We were denied a goal from Tom King meeting a back post cross and volleying into the net when we were 1-0 down. He was about 10 yards onside. Then Waterford's 3rd goal was disgraceful, as outlined by RonnieB above. Adrian Murphy missed a sitter from a yard aswell. Easily a game we could have won, although Waterford were very dominant in the first half.

The only positive to come out of Waterford's 3rd goal was RonnieB's rant at the officials that followed. Absolutely brilliant stuff :p

Well you see the thing with the offside was that the linesman on the stand side decided to take on one perception of the offside rule. Jinks was offside but King was clearly onside. He scored and the goal should have stood. But Waterford's third goal, number 33 was offside but number six ran from an onside position to cross the ball that lead to the goal. The linesman, if he wasn't a stones should have called offside for number 33 to be fair over the course of the game. But he didn't and hes a priick.

He didn't, in fairness. In fact, he made a couple of astute attacking tactical decisions, but Hendo countered them well (adding a bit of speed to our flanks midway through the second half for one).

Has he (Tom King) been good for ye this season? Has bags of potential imo.
He was good tonight anyway. Some dangerous crosses, and a super through ball for the Town goal.

Good win for Rovers against a Pats team devoid of players, fans, optimisim.

One other point see Bohs got another penalty last night I wonder how many that makes it now for the season must be nearly in double figures!!!!!!!!!

Do any of you know how many penalties have been awarded to Bohs this season?

Surely some Bohs supporter on here will know how many penalties have been awarded in all games to Bohs this season?

I make it 6. Rovers (h), Dundalk (h), Rovers (a), Galway (h), Sligo (h), Bray (a) :)

I also find it hilarious how paranoid yous are about the whole thing. :)

Think you probably called that just about right. Harder to see from our side of the stand, but if the officials were consistent in their interpretation, either both should have stood or both should have been ruled out.

Classic alright. Could hear it from across the pitch. "The officials are getting kickbacks". That's why we had a sponsored walk yesterday - to raise enough cash to bribe a linesman in Longford ;)
