Bulgaria are going to win this easily by the looks of things. they should have beaten us saturday aswell and now the pressure is seriously on for tonight. Italy, bulgaria away and another nicosia nightmare to come, i am not hopeful i am afraid to say.:confused:

I'm still hopeful Cyprus can grab an equaliser though. Bulgaria look a little sloppy at the back sometimes.

The Bulgarians are demonstrating great technical ability, they are able to hold on to the ball for twenty or thirty short passes at a time. Arsene Wenger would be proud. Cyprus keep fouling over and over. They rarely get past midfield. Good move down the left for Cyprus but couldn't get the ball on goal. Back come Bulgaria....

Watching Bulgaria play the ball around as well in the final third as they are, I'm even more convinced our game plan was correct on Saturday. We should have won the game, and didn't because of not taking our chances, not sitting back to much. If we hadn't have these guys would have turned McShane/Kilbane all night and caused havoc, instead they had one chance all night.

Bulgaria look technically very good, let's hope we make it another bore-fest in Sofia in June to stifle them.

Bulgaria still look the better team, but Cyprus appear to be growing in confidence and getting more time in the Bulgarian half.
IMO the referee is a home-town ref. Booked a Cypriot for nothing, while not booking a Bulgarian for a late challenge, also awarded BG a corner that shouldn't have been.

if bulgaria win tonight and we lose or even draw then are 7 with a game in hand. If they win the game in hand then they are 1 or 2 points behind us, then we have to go there and get a draw. As i predicted before that ppl got carried away to early with us beating below average teams 1 - 0. By the end of tonight we could be in a seriously bad way.

Only a yellow for the Bulgarian defender, the Cypriot forward was clear through, the guy who took him down was definitely the last man. Terrible decision. Outside the box.
