Bulgars nearly make it 2 in injury time. Keeper saves.

bulgaria have a free. ITs all but over.

Just to sum up, there is nothing to fear of bulgaria going on this, however we rely on others to do jobs for us than being capable of doing it ourselves. SO I think a draw is all we will get out there.

Cyprus have the creativity of a team of Glenn Whelans

petrov was class. The difference.

We are in serious trouble.

Bulgaria are well back in contention.

Bulgaria are a bit shaky at the back but they look bloody useful going forward and that's without Berbatov, M Petrov and Bojinov.

Oh well, it always looked like being one of those nights as far as we were concerned. On the plus side that means Cyprus are out of contention, perhaps they'll be a little less motivated when they come to Dublin with nothing to play for.

And will this mean people give us a little credit for our performances in this group so far? Cyprus didn't cause us half as many problems as they did Bulgaria, and Bulgaria showed themselves to be very dangerous in the final third (great ball for the second) against Cyprus, but created next to nothing against our heavily defensive set up.

We are in serious trouble.
.

What do you mean serious trouble? Serious trouble of not qualifying automatically, or serious trouble of not knocking out a side who are seeded above us by the half way stage in the race for second.

Apart from that there is no "serious trouble", get a grip.

Well we were playing with about 4 centre-halves. Dunne/O'Shea and Andrews/Whelan could have held hands all night they were so close.

I know, and it worked a treat. If only we had have finished any of our three good chances we created...

Bulgaria looked good, but after watching I still believe we are capable of getting a point there. They have a point against Italy so we must match that either home or away and hope they lose in Italy.

Mainz may be the difference

I'm thinking Dublin v Bulgaria might be the difference come the end of this group. They were all but out. They look a different team now.

I saw on Aertel that Cliff Byrne is Irish and he gets a game for Scunthorpe, why didn't Trap pick him for Cyprus tonight. Cliff Byrne 4 eva

Why isn't John Rooney in the squad???!!!

He scored a big goal for me in Football Manager, surely would be a better option than Robbie Keane, he's useless.

Can't believe people are shocked and down that Bulgaria beat Cyrpus.
Bulgaria are decent, they're seeded and ranked higher than us, yet we're ahead of them. It's not all bad....0-0 tonight!!
