UCD score. 1-0
Fine attacking run by David McMillan, managed to round Mons defence and slot easily in net.

United had a chance there when O'Connor took a free kick, ball sent out by defence but Byrne sent back in to Freeman who sent it just wide. UCD on attack now.

Third goal in three games for Kilduff, why couldn't he have been that good last year

One good half hardly negates a theory based on an entire season.

Can anyone make sense of this
: WORLD RECORD SUBSTUTION 37 seconds - Ryan Griffin was injured in the warm up for Mervue. They had no sub goalkeeper on team sheet and had to replace a sub with another keeper, and then bring him straight on.......Bizarre
because I just can't
If it happened as you described, that isn't allowed. More controversy
good to see our qualiy of football getting acknowledged.
Though Rovers approach has also helped make for a very good game of ball.

are you really sure you want to take Roddy Collins' side on any theory?

best half of loi football i've seen in a while. great game so far.
A brilliant half of football. The skill from the likes of Crowe, Ndo, Brennan and Cahill is too much for the defences. Great to see attacking football from both teams.

Occasionally...by the law of averages he has to be right once. :p
By the way, didn't meet to come across as bitter as that might have sounded, have really enjoyed the game so far, excellent football being played.:)

going by the past few weeks results its looking like us, Longford, Harps and possibly/probably Mervue will be at the bottom (and Monaghan if they don't get a result soon)
In blessed relief compared to the Dundalk v Bohs dross of the first week.
i honestly think that was down to the Dundalk pitch. I think we tried to play the right way but ended up hoofing it cos of a mix between the pitch and Dundalks stifling tactics....
maybe im being biased though (never!) ;)

Thats how it read to me also. It doesn't sound right or possible. You name your side/hand in your team sheet and thats what you play with.
Weird - I checked with an ex-FIFA ref and he cant work it out. If a player injured in warmup - you can replace him with a sub and still be allowed 3 subs - but you have one less on bench. The team on team sheet is the team and you cant change that.
We're both off to check laws as it seems weird.

Is that this year's rival to last season's majestically awful super mario jumping on toad that represented the tallaght stadium?

I have a feeling there's another goal there for Bohs. You'd feel for Rovers if they lost 3-0 as they did come to try and play football but would be a deserved win for Bohs.
