One thing for sure it will stop that nasty Mexican wave getting past us lot as we will be standing anyway .
Totally agree.....those things really annoy me:mad:......nothing to do with football and started by people who shouldn't be anywhere near a football stadium!

Hopefully the whole lower Davin will become the main singing section, and it will easily spread to the corners of the hogan and the cusak!
The Upper Davin will have to join in too!

I like to think of it as the Continuity Singing Section (membership currently 2)

Just out of interest. All going well there would seem to be a longterm chance of this working.
Is there any plan to "Christen" the singing section. I'm not suggesting Ultra's or anything, but bar the Germans/Austrians (sorry bad stereotype) I can't see too many other supporters being delighted by the Irish SS! :D

728 is Upper Hogan, 723 is Upper Davin, Hogan always seemed particuliy quite. I believe the singing section will catch on big time
I also quite like the view from my seats in 723, not too high not too low

good point. even more to the point, i get four tickets to each game (all upper hogan, but two sets of two, at different ends) for me, my mate, my dad and my bro.... i wonder would they relocate two of them, but not all four, to the singing section..... that might work... though i need to get onto them soon i'd imagine as tickets are probably being printed etc as we speak.

I always liked the BIG Jerseys - We had one going around the time of Japan/Korea. Whatever happens to these after the event? Its not like someone can have it hung on his/her bedroom wall!!

Always knew you were a "wind bag":D
Apparently there is no restrictions on bringing big flags into Croker now??
Thats good to hear. I wonder what caused the change of heart. We (one of the lads in my group) were told straight out that we could not hang or even display our banner at the Wales game. It was an EL club banner before anyone asks.

I really liked that. It used to go up and down the Upper East Stand before ko. It was an away jersey if I remember correctly.

Got my tickets yeterday. There's 17 of us on my block booking though and the seats aren't together, 10 of us in Row W with seat numbers in the 20's and 30's and 7 of us in Row X with seat numbers in single digits. We used to have 2 rows with the same seat numbers in the Cusack so we were in the one group.
Anyone else had this problem and does anyone involved in arranging this know if anything can be done? Or is it a case that Row X is shorter the Row W and the seat numbers aren't alligned?

does anyone know if the 20 euro difference between the hogan and davin tickets will be refunded? Or will the new price only kick in for the next set of games?

Does it not seem a bit suspicious that someone who just joine in the last week and has only posted on this topic and has a link to a website I have never heard of and the vote has no audit trail is trying to speak on behalf of the Singing Section. Just seems a bit strange. There is a definite agenda going on here.

Are you not just trying to push your band and trying to get publicity for them by logging in here and on ybig as two different names and pushing the music of some band called The Dessie O Malleys (sic).

i remember sitting in this section between 321,322,323 (the now-singing section) during the brazil game last year and it was sooo dull!
mexican wave etc was goin around..
i seen at the cyprus game (i was in the cusack) that there was wee drummers and that in the davin which looked good thou!
few more of them and alot more loud banter should make it a good atmosphere!!

does anyone know if these are good for the singing section? I fear that it won't be full and 50 euro is a lot

Is 50 euro not the cheapest tickets you can get. And if its not full what is to stop you going over to were the crowd is.
