    Norn Iron vs Latvia

Saw the game. Norn Iron by far the better team but lost. Worthington must go !! They seem to struggle to get decent results away from home as well.

Northern Ireland are back to normal, you have been way over achieving and losing to Latvia away is no surprise, they will lose in Iceland aswell, I would think.

Big Norn Iron support at the game.

And now a late defeat by Iceland. Must be something in the Irish genes about away matches.

Both defeats down to own goals.
Almost identical, a big defensive cok up though in the Iceland winner, shouldn´t take away from Gillespies remarkably cool finish.
Second away defeat to Iceland, both defeats due to very late goals and defensive cok ups with Eidur Gudjonnsen the man creating the mayhem in both of them.

    Was at both games

Iceland already a poor enough team were missing 4 of their best players with Eidur G coming on for his first 30mins play of the season, he still looked a class apart on the pitch.

That second goal by Iceland was like a Three Stooges skit by the norn iron players.
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
