I presume so. He wasn't involved in the 1-0 win over Basel either. He travelled to Switzerland with the squad though.

Stephen Ireland and Richard Dunne played the full 90 minutes for Man City in their 3-1 win over Doncaster: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/default.sps?pa...&newsid=443733
From the report, it appears Ireland was robbed for a goal

While that was going on, Man City's reserves beat Stalybridge Celtic 2-1, with Karl Moore grabbing the winner. Garry Breen played in defence: http://www.stalybridgeceltic.co.uk/r...php?fixid=9566
No report on Man City's site yet, I'll post it if it appears

Andy O'Brien played the second half as Portsmouth beat Yeovil 2-0: http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/
Pompey have changed their site to a really flash-animation heavy one, and it's slow and awkward as hell to use

He was substituted for Jim O'Brien, and QPR had Martin Rowlands in their team

Aren't Nelson, Samba and Ooijer all centre halves by trade? I could be paranoid but it seems Hughes would rather play one of them out of position than give Kane a chance in what looks like his best available side.
