UK Pre-season games

He was on loan in division 1 last season and made the team of the season, nominated for division 1 player of the year. He's Scottish though.

Very good player, scored 2 crackers last night and if it wasnt for him and pressley it could have been a cricket score.

I was wondering if anybody could give me an update on Colin Doyle; did he start many pre-season games for Birmingham, and is he set to be their number one this season?

Meanwhile, David Bevan from Grange made his debut for the Aston Villa first team last night in a 1-1 draw with Walsall.

Bevan, along with fellow Corkman Stephen O’Halloran, played the full game for Martin O’Neill’s side and both came in for praise after the game from the Villa boss.

Both are now set to be handed places in the first-team squad for the new season.
