Galway played only 1 European game at both Balindeerin and Carraroe.
If you are including these you shoulde the Rugby sportsground which hosted the European tie v Lyngby and quite a few other home games during refurbishments at Terryland.

On all teams, any pitch they used as a Home match is what I would like to mention.
When were Galway supposedly LOI Champions?

Would anyone know when the first club in Galway was formed ?
Or in deed the origins of soccer in Galway ?
There was a team based in NUIG (then Queens University, Galway) in the 19th century. I read an article in the college magazine which featured an extract of a match report.
The Galway and District League was founded in 1928. I am not aware of the teams who competed. Galway Rovers (now United) were founded in 1937.
