    Yes.

I know Pats own one of the buildings along the Richmond Rd (assuming that's the name of the main road), and I think you also own McDowells as well. Have you or your owners picked up all the others in the surrounding vacinity ? What about that new building behind the non-Camac goal end ?

So, er, what exactly has McDonnell done to deserve the sack?

Richmond Road is in Drumcondra, where Tolka Park is situated. Pat's own 125 Emmett Road.

I can't see Kenny being much of a success there in a primarily coaching mode. His singular genius lies in persuading yokels to love him by pushing their buttons.

The holding company that owns Pats owns several pieces of land on Emmet Road, and other roads adjoining Richmond park

    Kenny dismisses talk of departure

Stephen Kenny insists his job is not under threat and that Dunfermline can still win the Division One title - despite a 5-0 thrashing by Hamilton.

Saturday's home defeat leaves the Pars 13 points adrift and led to speculation about Kenny's position as manager.

But he said: "It is ridiculously early. We are only a quarter of the way into the season. There's a long way to go.

"It was a disappointing result and we have given ourselves a lot to do, but I am confident we can do it."

BBC Sport understands that Dunfermline's board were due to discuss the manager's position at their meeting on Monday.

And Kenny has had to dismiss speculation linking him with a January move to Eircom League outfit St Patrick's Athletic.

"I am manager of Dunfermline and that's the reality," he said.

"The manager of St Pat's is a personal friend of mine and it's very unhelpful this kind of stuff."

Kenny has even been quoted by some bookmakers as among the favourites for the Republic of Ireland job should Steve Staunton leave that post.

But the Dunfermline manager was sure that he could turn around the fortunes of his present club this season.

"We knew at the start of the season that the last team to get relegated and then promoted were Hibs 10 years ago," said the man who led Dunfermline to the Scottish Cup final last term.

"And I don't remember losing that heavily at home before in my career.

"But my record speaks for itself."

Kenny pointed out that mistakes by central defender Sol Bamba cost his side against the Accies.

"I think it was just one of those situations where we conceded three early goals from very basic errors," he said.

"We had only conceded eight goals in our last nine matches, so we are very good defensively and the player in question has been outstanding for us.

"He came back late from international duty in Africa and these are things you can't legislate for.

"But we cannot pin it on one player. Collectively, we were not good enough, while Hamilton were fantastic."

Not sure about that - when his star was rising with us, it was always the fear that he'd leave for Pats. It was a genuine surprise that he left for anyone else tbh.

Was Kerr not manager when he was at Pats first time around anyway?

Steve have a look at this - Richmond Park

Note that the bare area behind the Kilmainham (shed) end is now a multistory apartment complex or flats as we call them!

The holding company own several properties on Emmet Road including 125 (club office) and McDowells.

They also own properties on Inchicore Road which can provide access from that side. The club have a leasehold on the land from the Camac side to the houses on Inchicore Road (the tree area on the picture).

The factories behind the goal at the Inchicore end are up for sale.

That's as much as I'm gonna spell it out.

Wherever Kenny ends up, I don't think his main concern will be the stadium access routes.

Seems very harsh on Johnny Mac as he is within a whisker of getting 2nd place in the league. Worst case scenario might be Inter Toto Cup place. I seem to remember Pats fans suggesting earlier that the team had made great strides from last years mid table position...

Pats have more money than Derry so would be a better position. Only by managing a Dublin club successfully would Kenny get the credit he is due.

Derry City stadium plans seem to be just ideas at the moment & potential for development at Richmond Park is very limited - no use owning houses on Richmond Road as would be financial suicide to bulldoze them.

so basically they dont own the flats behind the shed then CB?!

I remember those flats have they not been there for about 5 - 10 years? I am assuming the factories are on the left side of the stadium in that pic? I cant make out old kilmainham road ( or is that only called that from the other side or i am talking crap) from there though or the river?!

I assume the holding company are going to purchase the factories then?

Here it is on Google Maps

    Here's the corresponding satelitte image
its in the space between Emmet Road and Inchicore Road. The "new" apartments are btween Myra Cottages and Camac Court. The river runs parallel to Inchicore road

Just wondering then, if the long term plan is to shift the ground a bit towards the inchicore end? - would give the space then for a stand by those apartments. Not trying to be funny, but I wouldn't mind it being spelled out a bit either - what sort of plans are in the pipeline? Is the access going to be shifted to the other side of the river or what?
