i wouldn't normally start a thread about a relatively unknown under 17 player but this is an interesting one.
Micahel Keane of Man. Utd. has been called up to under 17 elite phase squad. Both him and his twin brother William are currently with the Utd. academy. His twin, William is in the England squad.
Both Michael and William have previously played for the England under 17 team but it seems now that Michael has decided for the moment to declare for us.
I did a bit of searching on this and found this on a Man. U forum as to suggestions why he has declared for us. Obviously, whats on that is only hearsay and dosent hold much rope. The last 5 or 6 replies are the relevant ones.

It will be interseting in years to come if they both make it - twins playing for different international teams. Dont think I've come across that before.
I have a head only Snow White would love
Havent seen twins playing for 2 national sides myself. But have seen brothers do so.
Strange alright!
The general forum on redcafe is hilarious.
I haven't seen anything of Michael Keane, he hasn't had much of a look in at United as yet but his brother is a cracking player.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
