OK, OK. Windows Movie Maker is a great one for starting out. VirtualDub is a great one for non-RAM intensive editing of AVIs, mainly for DivX and x264. Adobe Premier is great for advanced editing.Originally Posted by A face

Windows Movie Maker seems to be popular alright, i'd kinda forgotten it was installed to be honest.
VirtualDub i have not heard of before, will give it a look.
Adobe Premier is advanced alright, seems to a bit to just learning how to use it. Its looks to be fairly top of the range as regards technical capability, its just using that ability is the thing.
IrfanView i haven't used but its meant to be fairly handy as well.
