Mmm, objectophilia, Bonnie... Personally, I prefer to receive other kinds of jobs to satisfy my needs.*

Never mind the begrudgers who don't understand the bond between a man and his building. Keep the rest of us posted on this very new and daring type of office romance!

*Mainly because it's 12 years since I got my last one... New career, obviously...
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

I didn't tell him not to post here, I just said anything, what was on my mind

Also if we were to have that thread it would be the longest thread here

    Good stuff outta ya.

However if like me you worked in the ugliest building known to man. and I mean the staff, Architecturally speaking it was very nice, you would appreciate the current office totty that little bit more.

    Savage gash lad!

    Roll on the Christmas party.

I know. How dare me. In fairness though the current excitement I have for my new job stems from the fact for the 4.5 years I was in my last job I spent 4.5 years trying to leave.

    it will wane.

I do like that I work on Shelbourne Road now. :-)

Thanks Gastric, Eminence Grise, Nigel and Bonnie - sorry I didn't reply sooner, the weekend passed in a haze, not a good one, and now, almost a week on, it's now in limbo. I know a couple of posters have met my Dad and one at least (Osarusan) would have spoken to him a few times at fights, he is a sports fanatic, real GAA man but played football/soccer, rugby and any other sport he could. We've a big meeting with the head doc today at 12, they've been pressing the line of - "you'll have some big decisions to make" bojjox that tears your heart out. I kind of smile that the last match we went to was in November when I was last home, up in Rathcoole, in freezing winds and watching a lad we look after (who my Dad thinks alot of) and just the craic we had before and after.

I am officially sick of Christmas music, but am slightly thankful I'm not in Ireland and sitting through the Jedward versions I assume are absolutely unavoidable.

Just stuck an accumulator on all 10 Premier League games this weekend. 1 euro would return a potential €41k.

    Fingers crossed

You can't escape it anywhere. I'm admittedly a bit of a grinch and don't really like Christmas music anyway, but they're now playing it at the gym where I can't escape it. Not only that, but its just today's crap artists covering old Christmas songs (or in some cases coming out with their own). I don't think any of them are Jedward (I guess I wouldn't know if I heard it anyway) but probably equally crap. I usually hear the same song three times by different artists and all terrible.

Reminds me of the Glee craze a few years ago, when the Top 40 would be on the radio in the background everywhere I went. You'd have #17, Don't Stop Believing, followed by #16, Don't Stop Believing (Glee Cover). Used to drive me nuts on long drives when I didn't have control of the radio

Someone was playing the Glee Christmas at my grandparents house last year as well, made me want to blow my brains out.

Sorry theworm but I just don't give a **** what is happening with your bipolar disorder(s)
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
