I'm starving and need chips but won't have time to.get home to the chipper and into the house for the match.
Bought a plastic cover + car cradle for my work phone(old blackberry) from fleabay. Thing that came was for a snazzy Iphone. Sent off an email to the seller, heard nothing back so left a neg feedback comment and forgot about it. Woke up this morning to a big parcel. Seller apologised for the mixup, offered to issue a full refund and loads of 'blackberry accessories'(actually more Iphone stuff) as a goodwill offer if I rescind the neg feedback. I've now got about 20 things for a phone that I don't have.![]()

Congrats Passinginterest!
If you're not already great mates with someone in a half decent band, one good thing is you'll have plenty of time to do it in. If you can swing a florist as well you'll have it cracked!![]()

BBC Question Time is in Derry tonight. I made the stoopid mistake of playing a Q T drinking game, it's not going well!
Change? Surely Change or Future?
Yeah... Future is the key word I'd say on QT tonight!
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?

Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
Congrats, Passing Interest.
Are you at the point yet where you want to thump the next person who tells you to enjoy the planning...?
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Finally getting my internet sorted after 5 months of waiting tomorrow. On a sh*t note though, my dog of 15 years passed on Monday which was horrible. Awful day, never easy losing the family pet.
Yeah very sorry to hear it, my dog is 14 and we got her when I was 7 and she was like six weeks old. She's very much a part of the family (probably the most important) so I know it can't be easy for you. Sometimes I put an Ireland shirt on her during matches for luck.

A very similar situation for me. I was only 7 or 8 when the dog was got as a pup so she was there for a good part of my life.
She was sick for a while though and passed peacefully in her bed beside the TV as myself and the girlfriend ate breakfast. Tough to watch your own dog die, but she knew what she was doing. Had a good walk around the garden before coming back into the house to pass on.
Strangest thing of the whole lot though, woke with a sick feeling in my stomach that morning, let the dog out, she went for a walk about, made some grub, let the dog back in, stuck on the Doors while eating, dog went to lay in her bed, 'The End' by the Doors came on...seems as though she listened to the song and passed. It was very surreal and strange. But I believe she knew.
There is no dignified way to eat a coffee cream slice.
If there's a big TV debate with all the presidential candidates in the next few weeks then part of it should include each of them eating a coffee cream slice. Most dignified eater for the Áras!
