http://www.herald.ie/sport/soccer/fe...p-1651076.htmlFenlon completed his last bit of business on the transfer front last night when he snapped up Ireland U21 cap Graham Carey on loan from Celtic.
Dubliner Carey, who was at Shelbourne before his move to Parkhead in 2005, has been offered a contract extension at Celtic by Gordon Strachan, but the Parkhead chief wants forward Carey to get some first-team experience and has agreed to let the player come to Dalymount Park on loan until the summer.
He's still with the U19s. Haven't seen much of him as only reserve games are televised and he's only made a couple of sub appearances for them. He came off the bench for the reserves against Hibs on Wednesday. He's a winger that'll take on his opponent and looks to put in plenty of effort.
Celtic reserves are trying to fit Mizuno, McCourt and McGinn into the team so they obviously feel Carey needs to go out to get a game at a higher level. Even though Mizuno and McCourt should be first team squad players by now at least.

Not sure if he is Irish or not but Ashley Grimes scored for Millwall tonight. Anyone know if he is the son of Ashley Grimes of Man U and Bohs fame in the 70s. He was with Man City and was released during the summer.
Always look on the bright side of life
Stephen Carr played the full ninety for Birminham today in a nil all draw against Crystal Palace.
Any chance he could wind up in the squad for the upcoming Bulgaria and Italy matches? Finnan looks to be finished and Kelly was terrible in the last match.
Garry Breen has apparently signed for Galway United...I suppose thats the end of his involvement in this thread
