    Andy Lee v Willie Gibbs

Starting soon enough, it seems everyone is expecting a good victory for Lee after his disappointing defeat last time out.

Some finish by Lee. Fair play he boxed a smart fight most of the way through and a cracking knock down of a very tough guy.

Great fight. Proud day for Limerick. Gibbs is one tough cookey. Gibbs was always expected to last the majority of the fight, Lee knew exactly what he was doing, playing a smart first few rounds by saving his energy for the last few rounds.

Great fight. Andy was superb, apart from looking a bit tired in the 7th, and 8th rounds.
Was surprised that Gibbs' corner threw in the towel with so little left in the fight, but it was clear he wasn't going to win.

Friend of mine was on the last fight on the undercard, Jamie Power, but never made it on to TV. His fight was on in the background during the build up to Andy Lee's fight.

He fought really well, especially as it was his first fight back after his maiden defeat as a pro. Gibbs seemed to be made of rock with the punches he was taking. It was a really entertaining fight imo.

A Duddy-Lee fight would be great to see.

Lee had Gibbs rocking on his feet in the 8th round. i was surprised they didn't fling the towel earlier. Gibbs looks like the kind of bloke who doesn't know when to quit, could potentially do himself a lot of long-term damage.
