firstly it's hard enough to distinguish between things like a 0(zero) and a O and a few others one, then you have to find that cats which is'nt that straightforward either, get it wrong, then 2.5mins starts over

Ahh what memories, I was only 6 or 7 but I still remember just about every game, I have this on VHS somewhere. We went to Spain, it shows Spanish fans talking before, going mental, expecting to hammer us. Aldo (I think?) was cruelly fouled just outside the box by a Spanish player.

Albania looked a horrible place. Lativa brushed aside, beating the North 3-0 in Lansdowne, Stan scoring from a corner . The defeat at home to Spain, no floodlights, I remember they were nearly playing in darnkess coming to full time. Did we draw at home to Denmark?

And of course, that night in Windsor. I was off school that day, can't remember why. Came home from Dublin, Engerland were on before us on BBC, San Marino went 1-0 up

Will never forget Gabriel Egan on that video roaring as McLaughlins volley hit the net 'Windsor Park falls silent!!!'. And of course being that age and hearing Roy Keane or any footballer cursing and swearing as he shouted 'we ****in did it! we're ****ing brilliant!'

Ahhh will we ever get the likes of that back!
