good man a face problem with these is that the boxing only has a few streams and all the yanks are in on it as well so the quality is generally very poor as it keeps stopping and starting. waht time is it on, is it 3.am?

i thinks its a formality assuming calzaghe has trained and isn't laxadaizical. hopkins lost to jones ages ago. i wanted to see a pavlik calzaghe fight but with pavlik getting hammered by hopkins it doesnt say much. Id love to see calzaghe v mayweather but its not going to happen either.

Yeah, could be a bit earlier but its gonna be around then.

Calzaghe has more to lose thats for sure .... but he has to be favourite, i think he'll do it alright but its not going to be easy. He normally doesn't get that battered but Jones can damage, who knows .... should be good though.

beating a washed up RJJR means nothing. The real Roy Jones from 10 years ago would have finished the job in the first round. Why not give Hopkins a rematch instead?

whats the point in rematches, winning once should be enough, rematches are always the ones where you can fall down. Should retire undefeated and leave it, no one can match him now, if he keeps going he will eventually lose. Otherwise he should set out a number at which he will retire, say 50 fights and stop then or 50 fights undefeated etc. No point in fighting just for the sake of it - eventually you are going to get beaten.

Anywhere online to watch this now?

I thought it was a close fight upto the cut that Jones got, that really affected the fight. Calzaghe's punches were not strong enough to hurt Jones regulary, but when Jones got him, they were hard ones, Calzaghe did show a good chin at times, but I can not see him been remembered as a legend. He did not have that power punch that great boxers have, its more a volume of punching than out boxing the opponent.

watched it on the computer last night and jones was definitely hitting fresh air half the day. In the second round when calzaghe was putting the head up between his hands if jones was any good he would have caught him with a couple of shots. Showed how poor jones was really. Jones knew he could never win it and just wanted to last the distance.

The Roy Jones that Calzaghe fought was a pale imitation of the fighter that graced boxing during the 1990s. He was shot to sh*t, Tarver and Glencoffe Johnson both knocked out a fighter well past his sell by date and it seems the media is forgetting this. A prime Roy Jones beats Calzaghe with ease. Very unfair to say 'if he was any good'. It'd be like slating the Ali who fought Larry Holmes all those years ago.

Why Calzaghe should fight Hopkins again? Most people had an old man beating him? Settle it once and for all? I thought Hopkins won the fight as did Calzaghe's dad if you watch that last round.
