San Marino are going to be a handful as the group goes on." - Steve Staunton reacts to performance against San Marino.
As we play a lot of teams who are not part of the euro (eg Slovakia) we could sing:
Cheer up sweet Slovakia,
Oh what can it mean,
To have, no f*ckin euro and a,
sh*t football teeeeeeam!!
Remember that class song
"We are the boys in green, the best you've ever seen, we've just made history, we're off to Italy, now listen to our song and you can sing along, you'll wonder where we've been when you see the boys in green, Ireland ireland lets show them what we got.........."
Well considering we are going back to Italy for the first time since Scalatci (spelling?) ****ed it up. Could we revamp this song??
We're all part of *insert manager here*'s army, we're all off to Italy..... will have to get a rendition or two.

No offence mate but are you taking the ****?? Lots of the muppets now following ireland latch onto any British song and adapt it for the boys in green. A bit of originality please before we are the laughing stock of European football. For a nation renowned for it's songwriters, poets and authors our repetoire is an embarassment. FFS whats wrong with the fields?? or even On the One Road, at least everyon knows them and they are IRISH.
"Being Irish, he had an abiding sense of tragedy which sustained him through temporary periods of joy."
A few new ones picked up this campaign.
For Richie :
Whats that comin' over the hill, the Honey Monster, The Honey Monster
and
He's here,he's there ,he's every-fookin-where, Richie Dunne, Richie Dunne
Were on the One Road seems to be making a comeback even heard the odd Molly Malone, and there was even a big rendition of Uh Ah Paul McGrath in the Millenium Stadium. Also added to that is 'Whoa O Paul McGrath,Whoa o Paul McGrath' to the sound of the Day we Caught the Train 'Whoa O La La' part.
Not to mention 'We've won the eurovision more than you' and 'Theres only one Johnny Logan'
I'd most like to see more of the possibly less republican, historical songs added to in-game singing.Anyone suggest of any suitable ones that we can try bring in over the next few games?
