Who do you think will win it?

Fancy Terry Jenkins (11/1 looks good value) myself. even though Taylor is in his way. I will probably look stupid afterwards but Taylor appears to be losing his appetite, his cutting edge, his air of invincibility or whatever it was that made him the greatest ever.

Bottom half of the draw looks the toughest. Ray vB and Wade have tough paths to their semi.

I think that Barny will win it, He is the best double hitter there is, that Double 18 is a certainty for him.

The short format, best of only 3 sets, coupled with the "Double-in" requirement has become notorious for high profile First Round Casualties......makes it very interesting from the beginning.....I am looking forward to seeing which "stars" are still left when I arrive Thursady evening!!

Great game with Jenkins and The Mace. I don't think Mason will ever shrug off the 'nearly man' tag. He threw brilliantly last night until the very last knockings and had Jenkins rocking. Jenkins knew he had got out of jail (so did I, as I have Jenkins backed at 11/1 ).

Part also looked good should be another good one with Part and Jenkins.

Part looks somewhat back to his best, when he is firing on all cyclinders, he is a great player to watch and virtually unbeatable.

That's some bottom half of the draw. Whoever comes through that will have earned their final place. Don't know why but I fancy Colin Lloyd to come through it. He played some great stuff last night, as did Lewis and RvB. If Wade recovers OK, who knows?
