First the abysmal performance and last minute goal in Bratislava, followed immediately by the "Granny is dead" fiasco.Stauntons ineptitude was there for all to see, except him of course.Prague will always be remembered for Stan ending up with a balanced team by default, ie injury to O Shea.Hunts arrival offered a glimpse of what might have been. His harsh red, had the fat lady clearing her throat.Post game, our managers comment that " things were coming along nicely" had remote controls flying at the screen all over Ireland. The FAI, aka John Delaney, acclaims a great performance, cementing the cone mover in his position for 2010.Both Grannies are alive and kicking, unlike with three games remaining, our qualification hopes.Intense public pressure is the only hope of losing Stan, and lose him we must.Basic football knowledge dictates that you play your players in their best positions, or at the very least learn from your mistakes and show signs of progression.Stan falls well short in all criteria. As the week closes we're stuck with this man, how depressing is that?:
lads can we try keep this to one thread?... there are 4/5 threads this could have been posted in without another!.
by the title i taught it was about ''someone who had a bad experience over there i.e beaten up, robbed etc.....
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D
My week would've been sucked even without the Ireland crap, that just made it really terrible, at least tomorrow is a new week

Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
Just back from Prague and I still can't believe it. I always believe that the manager should be given time but it's beyond a joke now. His team selections are a disaster and I've lost any faith I have in him. I've been to all the games this campaign and we have been terrible in nearly every one. We need a change now.
Would you let him drive the Dundalk-Drogheda train?? He'd be more likely to miss Drogheda altogether, and crash land it into Gormanstown.Originally Posted by ifk101

Granny in Cobh dead, gotta go.Well actually Granny in London dead,Granny in Cobh alive and kicking, if a little shocked to be recieving messages of sympathy on her apparent demise.Granny in London actually alive, but equally shocked at reading of her own death in London Evening Standard. Is it understandable to lie to Staunton, the team doctor, your fellow players, the FAI press officer, accepting their sympathies, fly home on a private jet provided by the FAI, get foundout, only to spew the same crock of ****e again? Understandable no...Stupid...yes.
(a) You've made no attempt to address the facts which came out subsequently.
(b) You've made no attempt to back up your initial claim that it makes Stan stupid.

Brave men Delaney & Staunton.....or are they just stupid?

Well considering the number of times one or other of the mentioned duo have called or had someone call at late notice saying they couldn't attend events/functions they agreed to participate in, I'd wonder,
