Anyone know if he's qualified to play for Ireland? Couldn't find anything online to say he was or not

Chris McCann seems a prospect alright. Has he been capped at underage level though? I don't recall seeing him in any squads.

Karl Moore played the whole 90 minutes for City, Ian Daly and Paul Marshall came on as subs
Billy Dennehy played for Sunderland and scored their solitary goal, Harte forced a save from a free kick according to the Sunderland report.

I see he replaced Hunt though so it doesn't look likely he's going to be given the opportunity to play central midfield this season.

After Wednesday night’s news that Stephen Ireland had put pen to paper on a five-year deal, a pleased Eriksson revealed: “I’m very happy he’s signed.

“He’s a very, very good footballer and one coming from the Academy, so that’s one more we have the long-term. That’s good for the Club and good for us.

“I think that he will play a very good football match for us on Saturday, he’s training very well.”
